A question

*laughs* Well, if you're using it to link to the site itself, I think you're in the clear. ^_~
2. Raelly?!?! Heh, I just don't think that would work. And things like manga, kawaii, alohomora (I don't even know how to spell that correctly, heh..), etc., would still show up as wrong. There are a lot of things you can do to remedy that problem to some extent--custom word databases, obviously, but in the long run I think it's probably more trouble than it's really worth. As it's been mentioned, the people it would most directly be aimed at are the most likely to simply ignore it.
3. Those are great. The violins look just fine, by the way. Musicallness is so cool, heh.
4. I like 'em. You did your cropping well, used bright pictures, and...well...all that other good avatar stuff. ^_~. They're cheerful, too. They're simple, but good. Sort of a breath of fresh air compared to how complicated graphics have been getting lately. [What's the name of the little green dog? I like him.]

A question

The easiest thing seems to be what Juu suggested. If you feel like making your own....the "logo" uses century gothic font with the otaku part bolded. The general scheme seems to be shades of periwinkle...or something to that effect. ^_~ Have fun.
6. This is a pic of Yanamaria, one of my plethora of characters. I actually stuck to this picture (well, relatively so) and finished in in what I think was two days. I'm rather pleased with myself--it took a lot of patience to brave Photoshop; the silly program keeps crashing my computer. Anyway. Yana's a doll--and a broken one, at that. (Note the gaping hole in the side of her head.) I really like her hairstyle, though; it's a lot of fun to work with. (Incidently, it's the only reason I keep drawing her all over the place...I just love drawing her hair, heh.) On a slightly different note, the fact that she's a doll means that I don't have to draw detailed hands for her. Heh. ^_~ A nice aspect of the not-quite-human world. As per always: Questions, comments, criticisms....and no ratings, please. ^_~ This is the smaller version.
7. Premature births can be scary--I'm glad to hear that they're doing well. Tell Deborah that Sara says hello. Best wishes and prayers for both of them. ^_~
8.
Originally posted by XBebop i REALY hope your being sarcastic..
On which point were you hoping for sarcasm? There was none in that post, but I'm curious.

Labyrinth

Heh, my friend Heather and I love this movie. It's great--sort of a cult thing, really, but great nonetheless. "You remind of the the babe--" "What babe?" "The babe with the power--" "What power?" "The power of voodoo--" "Who do?" "You do--" "What?" "Remind me of the babe." Heheh. I love the little fox-dude, too, what's his name? Sir...Didymus, or something? The "Firies," though, or whatever they are, are just freaky.
10. If the kid had any sensible upbringing, he would certainly have had the sense to NOT aim a toy gun at a cop. Or maybe the cop would have had the sense not to shoot and kill a five-year-old kid. I guess I can't really comment effectively on this. We never had toy guns when I was growing up. Not even water guns, heh. House rule.
11. That's an awesome picture...heh... And yeah, the crossed arm thing is sort of an artistic license you see with a lot of "strong" characters. And your coloring job is great so far.
12. I love urban legends. If you're interested, there's a rather extensive database at Snopes.com They list a variation of the one you posted here. And if you're really a glutton for punishment, you can check your local library for any books by Jan Harold Brunvand. He's got a ton of compliations, along with some research and other interesting stuff.
13. We don't allow one-word posts here. Try creating a thread that encourages some discussion. ^_~
14. We generally ask that posts be more than four words long. If you wanted to try the same thing with longer posts, it might work out.
15. I think the word for that is anthropomorphic--or something close to it.
16. I'd rather be a member. ^_~ There's a great deal less responsibility. It's nice just to come here and not feel obligated to check on your designated forum(s). On the other hand, I do enjoy actually being able to do something about double posting, etc. So I don't mind moderating--besides, it gives me an excuse to get to know the rest of staff a little better, which is something I've honestly been meaning to do. All things considered, having experienced time here as member, moderator, and category mod, I'll say my stint as Digimod was the most fun. (Although that was admittedly because of the "era" I was a moderator in. I got along with more people much better then.) The period after I stepped down from modding, though, was probably the most enjoyable--I knew just what I was missing. ^_~
17. That''s so pretty. I love her hair, especially. Looking at it again, the only thing that stick out is the little bag at her side--it really needs some sort of shadow to show it's below her arm. There are a few other similar places, but that's one that sort of stick out for me. Other than that...I really love this picture.
18. Actually, he used to have his signature say he was bi...And then he said he was surprised no one had commented on it. *wanders off*
19. We used to have an ant problem at our old house...this is when I was five or six, right after we moved in. Dad spent about a year sprinkling ant crystals all around the outside of the house and in the basement. The problem went away and never came back. Now, though, we're in a new house, and we have the problem all over again. *laughs*
20. The things about a spell-checker--There are a lot of words it won't recognize. People's names, titles of series, websites, even things like manga or newbie. (or Otaku.) I don't want something suggesting that I really mean mango every time I post about Chobits...
21. Welcome to Dead House... Was that the first one?
22. I wear glasses. (When I can find them...) Ruffles? I have to admit, I'm really not much for ruffles, heh. (Certainly not on a picture of myself. o0) I generally do keep away from various accessories, unless I'm in a strange mood. ...I like simple images, I guess.
23.
Originally posted by PloKoonDS I dont believe in pain, hence, pain isnt real. I dont believe in death, hence, death isnt real.
I don't believe in pre-marital sex, hence.....:whoops: Just caught my eye. You're an extraordinarily interesting person, Plo Koon.
24. I've had folks online think I was 40 some years old..that was funny, and I cleared it up rather quickly. Good times, that... I s'pose it depends what exactly you mean by mature. I don't really classify people by ages--"Oh, he acts like a fourteen year old"--because I've never been able to figure out what, exactly, a fourteen-year-old is supposed to act like. If I need an example, I usually say that people are acting "like fifth graders." I don't really qualify goofing off as immature, either. It's just a part of who you are. There's a time and a place for it. If you're lucky, the time and place is easy to stumble across.
25. Felt like posting some stuff. ^_~ This is..er...me. Heh. Whaddya think?
