I'd say Vash and Meryl from Trigun and Cloud and Tifa from FFVII would be at the top of my list of worst anime couples. I mean, they're both just such mismatches. A runner up would be Zidane and Dagger from FFIX: that relationship was *too* good-and obsessive. So? I'm sorry, but I can't stand Darrien, and he got even more annoying when he was with Serena; after they became an item, he lost all personality traits. (Tuxedo Bland, anyone?) Besides, the thought that Serena, who made googly eyes over every boy she ever met would only have one boyfriend, and be satisfied with that, is wierd. Also, Ryoko and Tenchi from Tenchi Muyo: that shouldn't happen. Tenchi should end up with Ayeka. I say this because I think Ryoko deserves a lot better than Tenchi, who's the least interesting character on his own show. It shows you how deep their relationship goes, and how dramatic it is truely is. If anybody should be voted worse couple, it should be Heero Yui and Relena. [/B][/QUOTE] I know this like the second thread I've questioned the yaoi disagreement with ya Millie and I'm sorry cos I don't mean it personnally but seriously, Quatre and Trowa were meant to be together, true Heero/Duo is almost as annoying as Heero/Relena (cos Heero was just meant to live a lonely unloved life lol)..but who else are you going to pair them with. Trowa/Catherine is just bordering on incest and Quatre/Noin was not meant to be (cheers Zechs/Noin) Oh yeah and I'm a sucker for happy endings so [spoiler]that ending where Zidane and Garnet were reunited just got to me ^_^[/spoiler] Anyway, couples I don't like...Miaka and Tamahome, just because Miaka is almost as whiny as Shinji from Evangelion and should be shot, figuratively speaking anyway. I find trowa and quatre intriguing............hmmmmm i have never heard of that........personally i think all gundam relationships lack depth. As for tenchi......those relationships are beyond demented. The worst anime couple ever would have to be Galaxy Fraulein Yuna and Paulina.....if it ever happened that is.
