It's Strictly Ballroom, Dragon Warrior. It pays off when your sister is a Baz Luhrmann obsessor. ^_~

It's always a pleasure to look at your designs, Lunox. I'm loving the dress, sleek and sexy. ^_~ I like how the straps come up and attach to the collar. It sort of reminds me of my sister's dress for prom last year, except her's had gems over the bossom and such. I like the hairstyle you gave the model, too, free and natural-looking. For the second picture, I have four to five words for you: I want that shirt/jacket. XD Actually, I don't think his weapons are weird, they actually have swords/daggers like that. I don't remember what they are called... wave swords? I'm not sure. But I've seen them on games like Soul Calibur and stuff. ANYWAY... aww, he's cute. XD They're awesome for quick sketches. Keep drawing!
I was wondering about that too. I have two guesses: either
the injuries near his eye became infected (or too much blood got in it, etc.), or Archer somehow managed to shoot him while the scene switched to Liza's point of view and she was shown running up toward them from behind.
I think the second one is more likely to be correct, since she found
Mustang lying face-down with a large pool of blood around his head.
~Dagger~
Yeah,
he was shot right before she got to him. Otherwise, I don't think he would have collapsed on his own, because he seemed to be coping with the wounds Pride inflicted upon him just fine.
Anyway, wow, that ending last night. It's weird... I feel somwhow fulfilled, but I'm left needing more. It's like a close came to the story, but a whole new part opened up. I guess we'll just have to keep guessing about the Elric brothers.
Someone who watched fan subs of FMA before Adult Swim ever shed any light on the show told me that Edward like, died for sure. Maybe she was just talking about the second to last episode. At the time, I didn't really care, but when I remembered what she said after I had gotten into the show, I started freaking out. "Edward is gonna die, he's gonna diiieeee!!!" Because, well, I love Edward quite frankly. So, I'm really glad that she was wrong. Woman lied to me. XD Man, with what happened with Al... wouldn't that be sort of depressing if you were Edward and you found out he didn't remember anything from those years? Then Al would just go and try to get Edward back and end up losing his body again or something. It's a never ending cycle. @.@

It happens to me all of the time. Currently, there are a few... let's see... The Reclusive by Cursive. I used to only like the beginning of this song, reminded me of something you would hear in a stripper bar, haha. But later on I listened to all of it and fell in love with it. It ran through me and I could just feel it. It's great. Another one is Blue composed by Yoko Kanno, I don't know who it is performed by, however. I love how this song builds up, and gives a great release in the end, like a build up of great emotion just floods out in a wave of relief or something. At first I didn't really like how some of the vocals were presented, but now I appreciate it. Also, Teenage Dirtbag and Truffles by Wheatus. Because Wheatus is my b*tch. 'Nuff said. Dare by the Gorillaz is also a lovable tune, but I don't hear it much on the radio, so it's quite unavailable to me. Some songs I was realy obsessed with around this time last year were Strawberry Gashes by Jack Off Jill and Evolution by Ayumi Hamasaki. Hell, I don't know a damn word Ayumi was singing, but I still ate it up like no other. It's not like I got sick of those two songs, I just don't play them as often as I used to. Music is good for you.

Well, you know, a lot of people believe in reincarnation. Which would mean your spirit/soul would be in a constant living state, no matter what form it takes on. I've heard the idea that your "soul mate" or "true love" will always be your "soul mate," no matter what age or time. So, basically, when your current body dies and your soul finds it's way to a newborn body, you can still find your former soul mate. Now, this doesn't exactly mean that that person will be your lover. Because, the words love and soul mate do not always apply to your lover/partner. Your best friend could be your soul mate, your pet could be your soul mate, your plants could be your soul mate. Etc. (Heh, plant soul mate XD) In conclusion, the general theory is that you will always keep the same love with the same soul as you did in your many lives beforehand, and that you will always find your way back to that soul in the end. If that is what you wish to believe. I believe it to a certain extent, and it makes sense, but you can never truly be sure... not even of your own thoughts. Nothing is definite. So, no, your material body cannot obtain immortality from love, but perhaps your soul can. Love and souls are immortal, just simply not the body we have at the moment. That's the theory I can relate with most. But, you know, if you want your body to be immortal as well, you can always take up alchemy and create the Elixir of Life. >>

I can't believe no one has mentioned a clothing store yet. XD But, yes... I would like to have my own clothing store. I have a really hard time finding things I like in stores, and I can't always just go and order things off the internet. So, if I could make my own clothes, I'd love to sell them to people that had that same problem. Such as... nice little Victorian clothes... get orders from TokiDoki... you know? Just make my own designs and sell stuff from the few companies I like. I think that'd be really cool. Be able to see someone wearing the clothes you made with your own two hands. It would be a damanding job if you were the only one making the stuff, but it would be worth it, I think. I'd also love to work in a chocolate store or cake shop. Oh, and a comic store, too. There is this little place called DayDream Comics in Iowa City that I just love. They don't have the biggest collection, but I love browsing around there whenever I visit my dad. If I ever go to college in Iowa City, I think that is where I would apply for a job. So cozy and cool. The people there are pretty awesome, too.

I don't think I've killed an extreme amount of threads... and since I'm too lazy to look, I won't. But, sometimes, I just make myself look like a moron in a topic... realize I didn't mean to say that thing... then come back with another reply that is so contradictory to what I said previously... it just gets ugly sometimes. XD Most of the time, however, I don't believe it's actually me that kills the thread. I might just happen to be the last one that has anything to really say on the matter, then it just fades to the back, while new threads come flooding in. I mean, threads have to end at some point, right? And there is always going to be someone that has the last word.

It's all an act, you know. A way of getting attention. And it bugs the crap outta me. For example, a lot of people in our high school cut themselves just to get pity. So peope look at them and say, "Oh, they're depressed, let's go get them cake." But it doesn't really work when over half the school does it. In fact, someone I hang out with sometimes acts all depressed and "sighs" all the time just to get people to look at him. He thinks he has a depressing life, even though he gets everything he wants and he's a spoiled little whiny *****. XD Oh, I'm getting vicious. >> I actually know some people with some depression problems, for like, real. And normally they don't complain about it. And they certainly don't cut themselves. They make the best out of the happy times they get. And if there is something that is bothering them, they know what to do about it: go talk to someone you trust. Anyway... yeah, basically everyone knows that "emo" is just another fashion/attitude trend. But, you know... the poor souls that have to experience time with them, just have to endure it. Unless all those people that threaten suicide actually get the balls to do it... then... well, whoo! >> I mean, honestly, can't people find better things to do with their lives than mope around because of nothing? Like, find something that you enjoy. Like gaming! Unless they just enjoy moping around. O.o Which I find VERY unbelieveable. Well, then again, some people just feed off of tragedy automatically. Whatever. I don't feel like discussing anymore. Lix out... Heh... emus. Nice.

The thing is, I started off with the OtakuBoards being my first forum. So, with that, I found it hard to stay connected with other forums, because I was so used to here and the rules. Whenever I would type something decent in a rather spammy forum, I would get replies saying that I was wasting my time with commenting the way I did. I just think it's logical to have forums with stricter rules, less spam, and more civilized typing. Otherwise, what is typing class for? :P Duh. And, I mean, I hope people don't actually talk like that outside of the internet. Running around saying, "OMGERZ//// sum1 getch meh layd!!!!" >> and so on. Coming down to the point, it's just plain annoying to read stuff like that, just as much as it would be annoying if it was said in public. I know that people want to "get away" from school/work writing and such, but, eventually, the way you type on the internet, can effect the way you write normally. Everything you learned about grammar and spelling could easily deteriorate. I don't know. If they so wish to feel contempt, who is stopping them? They have their own standards, and we have ours.

These are pretty good for a beginner, honestly. For the first batch of photos, I really like the first and second. As for the first picture, it's really cute. A lot of people always want "quality" in their photos, but, you know what? I think the blurring adds a good effect, even if it was intentional or not. The second picture is nice. Not my favorite, but I think the whole "censored" thing was a good idea. You might want to try another font though, the

Alright, since no one has posted for a day or so, I'll just choose some people and get one with it. First Place:
Originally posted by Ziggy Stardust Girl in background: Oh god, Geddy Lee's drunk on my porch... again!
NICE. Real nice. Haha. Second Place:
Originally posted by Gavin "Where the hell did everybody go ?"
Somehow... that just so fits. Lol. Anyway, good job, guys... next picture, please...

How fun. I added myself, seeing to there needed to be more Iowans. It's weird to see how close some people actually live. O.o

Normal Saturday: Wake up around nine to noon, depending on the night I had before. When I wake up, though, I don't actually... get up, I sorta just lay there and ponder for about an hour. I'm either thinking about the dream I had or a new story/fan fiction idea. When I finally do get out of bed, I realize I have a headache and go downstairs and knock down some Alieve and ice water. After that I eat something. Might be chocolate chip waffles, English muffins, ice cream... never cereal, though... gross. Then I kind of wander around all day... like, I might write on my computer... or read a book... normally get a few good hours of gameplay on my computer (Morrowind and Age of Empires 3). On a nice day, I'll go for a walk down to the creek or something. I eat some more. >> Then, around seven, I go to a nearby TV and watch Teen Titans, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, and Cowboy Bebop. But, now, that'll change... seeing as Teen Titans is OVER. ;_; But, yeah... mainly, I just lazy around the house. No one can really get me outside anymore. XD Oh, yeah.... gourge myself with chocolate... that's another one. Perfect Saturday: Hmmm. Mainly what I already do. I just wish I didn't wake up with headaches and such. Wish I had more chocolate... and that our home "community" computer had internet again. Otherwise, that's it. Not too exciting. Well. It is for me. Exciting enough anyway. You can't get much better living in Iowa. >>

Oh my, I'm sorry. XD Forgot I posted anything. Anyway... heh. Dentist. >> Uhhh... here's one, I guess. So... caption on. (I'll just attach it, since it's not on the internet... whatever)

Oh, these are very nice, Lunox. The flow of it is really nice, not bad clothing designs, either. ^_~ I agree with Retribution, I love the kind of messy sketch style and I always have. If I could create something like that, it's be just peachy, but I can't. >> Eh. Anyway, the proportions are done very well. I think the only one that has an odd form is the girl on the left in the first image. Her arms are very... skinny. It looks like they could break if you poked them or something. But the hair styles on them are very pretty. I actually like what you did with the eye coloring for the last image. Quite nice for working on it on the computer. They look so life-like. Good job! I'd like to see more from you.
We would all be living at the equator had clothes not been invented. We also lost our fur because of evolution ... I'm guessing because we didn't need it for some reason or another. I'll take the clothes and the degrading nudity with it.
Haha, yes, that struck my mind when I was writing that. But there could always be fire and heaters... >> But if the human race couldn't even come up with clothes... I doubt we'd be smart enough to come up with that. Though, there are nudists, and they're not stupid... they just want to be free. XD Ehem... yeah, this isn't getting off topic or anything...

Now, my question! Are you more motivated when you leave something like a project to the last minute?
Certainly. Actually, I find that I do my best work (mainly school work) when I am doing it at the last minute. Your adrenaline kicks in at the last minute because you know you have to get something done, and quick. I'm going to be an aweful, yet typical college student one day. Haha.
My favorite word would have to be "Anyways," simply because I tend to go off-topic alot, and I mean alot! Anyways...LOL! There I go again. Anyways...My question: Who's put into a steriotypical generalization more, men or women?
My sister would positively kill you if she heard you use the word "anyways." You know, it's really not a word, it's really just "anyway," but, whatever. She hates it when people use bad grammer and such. >> She put me through hell one day just because I accidentally said, "Instead of." Moving on.... Wow, that's actually a pretty difficult question. But I think that they are about the same, really. It all depends on the person of course, but... as a generalization, both genders are about equal. Most see men as strong, sports-loving, slobs... haha, and woman as the clean, delicate and beautiful gender. So... you know? I don't know how to explain it. Alright, my question... Which of the following do you think is killing off Americans quickest? Fats and starches, sugar and caffeine, or alcohol? (Merg... I have no comment on my own question... >>)
Now for a new question. Do you ever wonder why people stay in a relationship when the other person is physically abusive? I see people do it and I just don?t understand why they stick around. Every time I?ve had a boyfriend like that I?ve always ended the relationship.
It's because some people like the abuse. Have you ever heard Silverchair's "Abuse Me"? There ya go. Uhh... let's see. A Question. Alright... Would you... Save or kill Toby? (Please don't blame me for this stupidity... but, if you wish to answer correctly, see the links below.) You know what porn really is? Those BOD men commercials. I actually think that this whole thing about porn is ridiculous. I mean, we're just animals, and if you look at it... every other animal walks around nude. they just have more fur than us. Clothes were only made for warmth. What if humans had never been smart enough to wear other materials to keep us from the cold? We'd all be nude. And we wouldn't find it one bit degrading. Let's face it, women are the more beautiful gender, and if women believe that they hold that beauty, then by all means, let them us it. Porn is nothing to be ashamed of. It's natural for people to get aroused when looking at it, and it's natural for people to want to show off their stuff. I only find it wrong when children are being used. Normally they don't know what's going on, or they've been trafficked. Human Trafficking and child pornography are just wrong. These are the people that don't have a choice, that are being blackmailed, being treated like dirt. Otherwise, when women, even men, take part in porn on their own free will, then what's the problem?

Well, at the moment... I'm not sure who my 'best' friend is... I've been going through this hermit stage. *shrugs* Well, my first best friend, evar.... had to be a girl named Breanne. Her nickname is Peeper, though I don't know why... in fact, she doesn't even remember why anymore. >> But everyone just called her that. Anyway, she lived around the area that my dad and 'ex' step mom lived. We lived on this dead end street, and there were a lot of kids, so everyone was kind of buddies. The only person I really didn't know was her. I hung out with her little sister, who is about two years younger than me. One day she told me to come over to meet her sister, so, I did. Peeper and I talked for awhile, hung out more and more everyday... and, after so long, I was just always at her house. I think she was the first person I ever met that understood all my views and had a great deal in common with me. But, I was around 6, mind you... so, I naturally hadn't met a lot of people. But, we were inseperable for about three or four years, even when I moved across the state. We always were together when I came back to my dad's, though. And then that's when she moved to Misouri. We still talk occasionally, but when you go on in your life, and you can only see that person once a year, it's very hard to keep in touch. Recently, though, I've really been starting to miss her. Well... when I moved across state when I was around seven or eight, I had to start off new with friends. Even though I still had Peeper back in my old town, I still had to find other people to hang out with. In about third grade, I found Paige. This time... it was a little stranger. You see, we both were 'friends' with this one girl... but she was one of those really possessive people. So... I guess Paige and I became friends trying to plot against that one girl. LOL. Yeah... but, we've been pretty good friends for awhile. But, lately she's been kind of bugging me. So, I don't know. Mehhh... I also met this girl, Alex, off OtakuBoards... we talked a little bit through PMs... and then we were in an RPG together, and after that we started talking a bunch on messanger and on the phone. So, I've known her for about two years. Ends up she's just like my twin... she just doesn't look like me. .... .... Soul Twin... XD

Take-out Chinese and Hide-and-Go-Seek in the dark. At the same time. XD >> Hmm hmm. Yeah... or just take a walk in the middle of the night and go grab some chips at a gas staition. Either way... it involves food with me. And nighttime. I'm romantic in my own special way.

I use Wikipedia plenty, mainly for myself when I'm bored... but I use it a lot for papers too. The fact that anyone can edit it never bothered me, because, for one, it's pretty easy to spot falsities if you are in the right state of mind... and second, if I'm doing a paper for school, I always double or triple check the information I use. There are always other sites to confirm your doubts about things you get off places like Wikipedia. As for the prank... I always thought about those kind of things... but I never knew someone would actually be stupid enough to post something like that, especially considering what a serious topic that is. That Chase guy is lucky he didn't cross with a spazzoid. His *** would so be sued. >>

Sure... women are capable, completely capable. But will most of America agree with that? No. Even though the places are getting better at accepting that people of differnt races/gender/sexuality can be just as good as anyone, it's not the way it should be. There is still a lot of discrimination, and there always will be, somewhere. Some women are actually afraid of the fact that their gender is receiving more power than we used to. And with that, they would say that a woman is in fact, not up to holding the position of President. Another thing... most people are used to men being the symbol of human power... people generally see a man as a powerful, supportive, and an "intact" figure. With that, a country or community would generally feel safer under a man's rule. That's just... how it's always been. I'm not saying that a woman couldn't become President, because I would like to see one in the White House, representing us and the country.... but... I am saying that it is very unlikely at this time. There are many involved with the government... but none have yet risen to "the top" yet.
