Talyn hauled Jade's limp form onto his shoulders, and carried her down to the next level, where Alec was. And so, according to the smell, was Richard. There was some noise coming from down the corridor, so Talyn went to check, keeping to the walls quietly in case Richard had managed to overpower Alec.

No such thing had happened. Talyn rounded the corner and saw Richard lying on the floor, unconscious, with Alec standing over him, slightly bruised. Apparently Richard had put up a fight.

"Irritating little things, aren't they," he said to Talyn, wiping a smear of blood from his cheek with his little finger and licking it off with his tongue, "Mm. Rather tasty."

"Now that we've caught them all, can we go and see Malik now?" asked Talyn impatiently, "We don't have time to stand around talking."

"Very well. Come with me," said Alec, lifting Richard up onto his shoulders, "Are you ready to meet Master Malik, Talyn?"

"I was born ready," he said...

A hiss broke through Noals lips as she slammed a hand on either side of the door way. Alec sneered and backed away, blocking Talyn's advancement. The ex-Wanakanda gritt his teeth and clenched his fist. He was probably growing tired of every one getting in his way.

"You will stay here," Noals hissed at Alec. The older vampire rolling his eyes at the mockery this vampire was. "Order's from Lord Malik. As for you," Noals snaked her head around Alec's head and stared deep into Talyn.

She pulled the cart that was loaded with ropes, syringes and other devices that could be used for torture. She shoved the metal cart into Alec, he stumbled back and looked over the intrusments. A wicked smile creased the vampire's face as he began to examine the items more closely.

Noals watched him for a moment before walking into the room completely, looking the door behind her. The door may not last against either vampire or wakanda, but if the guards about the hall heard it break they would be upon them all in a moment. How she loved to play with fools. Could be why Malik loved having her among his ranks and close allies.

Noals slipped past Alec, breifly looking over the three wakanda they had captured. They were slumped up against a wall, still unconcious and untied. Noals wrinkled her nose at this thought but continued towards the newest member among the vampire ranks.

"You may look and act like vampire," she growled softly as she came to stand before the man. She traced invisible lines on his chest, slowly bringing her eyes up across his neck, and then up to his face. "But you still smell like Wakanda. I await for you to screw up, Talyn. I shall be the first upon you and the last to drink you seculant blood."

"We are preparing to land." The captain announced over the loud speaker as the jet jolted. Rain pelted the windows as the jet shook again.

Kalei took a heavy sight. Anxiety was taking over her whole body now, her chest tight, breathing short and her stomach in knots. She couldn't keep her mind from wandering into the realm of "what happened to the others". Had she only been an hour sooner, she could have saved them all.

The distinticed popping in her ears told her that the plane was decending rapidly. On a normal day, the bumpy plane ride would have gotten her nerves a little shakey, mabye a little tense. But today it didn't matter. There was nothing in the world that was going to stop her from finding the others again.

The sudden screech and being thrown forward in her seat told her that they had landed on the small strip behind the temple. The engine slowly rumbled until it was silent as Kalei stood to open the hatch. There was already a stairwell/ramp waiting for them, along with stretchers and medics. Kalei ushered Sin to follow her off the plane as the medics rushed into the jet to take the others to their respected rooms.

"Malik...you will pay for this..." Kalei whispered as she rushed through the rain and under the covering of the walkways.

Ena limped off the jet as she witnessed Kalei and Sin taking off into the rain-stricken darkness. Fyuora and Priest followed behind her and they were ushered into the temple by the medics.

"Ma'am, do you need any assistence?" One medic asked.
"No thank you, sir. I'm fine. Just a little soar that's all." She nodded.

'When Talyn hit me, my back hit the wall with such a surprising force. I didn't think it would be this bad, but perhaps I'll get it looked at later.'

"Well, Kalei has ordered that all of you be checked out as a physical. To make sure that you're all okay, of course."
"Very well." Ena sighed.
"Here, we've been directed to escort you to your rooms."
"Alright. See you two later." Ena waved her hand at Fyuora and Priest as they returned the gesture.

While being examined carefully by a nurse, Ena discovered that the wound on her arm had opened again. "You're lucky to have gotten here as quickly as you did. This scratch could have become infected."
"That's how I survive." Ena said. "Each day that I live means that I've survived the last. It's just luck."
"I see." The nurse replied. "Well, as for your back, it seems that two of your ribs on your left side are bruised. With time, they will heal. Until then, you'll have to be careful. I'm going to wrap you up to help."

Ena scoffed at the thought. 'In a time like this...be careful? Is she joking? Doesn't she know who we are?'

Eventually, Ena was escorted back to her room where she proceeded to lay down. "Now, all I have to do is wait for this Riley kid."

OOC: So sorry I haven't posted. Been sick, had storms that knocked out powers for days and university finals in a week. Me = FREAKED OUT!

The vampire Lord had left them in the room without no one inside, but more than likely someone guarding them from the outside. It didn't matter really. The two were too weak to do much, let alone fight. A lower vampire had come on the Lord's orders and brought the two meals of bread, butter, meat and water and a blanket. Tegan drank a glass of water from the jug before wrapping Katima up in the blanket, her wounds slowly healing.

" You're too stubborn for your own good," Tegan sighed as he gently laid her head on a pillow. He could see Katima's lips curve into a small smile and looked as though she was going to retort but thought better of it.

" You're lucky Katima.... You shouldn't have provoked him like that."

It's not like I had anything to tell him anyway. I wanted to get some answers out of him. Like why did he want us? Guess I failed pretty miserably.

Tegan snorted. He could feel what she was trying to say. A twin thing.
" Anyway, do you think you could drink?"
I suppose so.
" Here's some water then," Tegan said after he grabbed his refilled glass. He gently tilted Katima's head up to see her eyes half openand her lips part. He carefully dribbled the water down her throat, making sure she swallowed and took as much as she could drink.

That's enough.
Tegan put down the glass, it chinking slighty on the wooden floor of the room. " Do you think you can eat?"
Give me about half an hour. You eat. It smells good.
" You sure?"
Go for it. You need your strength.

Nodding, Tegan picked up the food and started to eat. It wasn't much but neither of them had eaten since they left the Manor in England so anything they received was welcomed. Katima now had her eyes open, looking around. She felt a big stronger. Sitting up, she looked over at Tegan who finished his meal with a long gulp of water. She was grateful that he saved her, but telling Malik where the others were, she would have died before she had done that. But if she was in the same position that Tegan was in, she would have done the same so that he could be saved.

Downstairs, Katima could hear the scuffles of fighting. Fighting? Between the ranks? Or did the others escape. She hoped with all her heart for the latter and that they would escape this fortress and leave her and Tegan behind. But, she had the sinking feeling that they were trying to save the two. She wanted them to escape, to go back to Kalei, wherever she was now.

Priest sat on the bed putting her hand on her head gently"what a day..." she rotated her shoulders a little without any jolts of pain. They had taken care of that when she had her required check up. She looked around the room, her bag tilted to the side in a corner next to the bed. She laid down nearly sinking into the bed, starting to instant drift in a state of sleepiness. A knock came at the door., Priest groaned a bit not moving. She didn?t want to get up at all, her mind for a brief minute distracted from earlier events, the knock came again. Priest forced herself to rise up from the bed and walk over to the door.

she grasped the door knob cracking the door open a bit."Yes?" She looked at the girl fumble with a piece of paper at the door before handing it to her."I'm Ashley" priest looked over the paper, nothing she wasn't already told. She handed it back."I see .Come on in then I guess." She walked away leaving the door open. Priest sat back down on the bed and stayed quiet before pushing out a chair next to the bed for Ashley to take a seat in for now. Priest took a deep breath. ?so....you?re my apprentice then eh?? Ashley nodded slowly.

?Well, be patience with me and I?ll be patience with you..I?ve never had an apprentice before so I really don?t know what exactly I?m suppose to do.? their was a sort of awkward silence, priest sighed and let the girl out. ?Well I think I?m going to get some sleep...I?ll see you later.? the girl nodded preparing to say some thing before priest lightly closed the door.?well...that was kind of rude..? Ashley shook her head some walking away from the door.

Priest closed her eyes and made her way back to the bed, god forbid anyone wake her unless its urgent, she thought out loud and then crawled to the middle of the bed curling up in a ball. She didn?t mean to be rude at all, priest was just tired, and at least she opened the door she thought.Priest just wanted to sleep, forgot everything for only a few minutes if she could. Just a few minutes of sleep and then she would get back to the girl.

The door slammed shut as Talyn walked towards the prisoners. Their hands were chained to the ceiling, their feet hanging a few inches off the ground. They were all unconscious, dangling slowly. Talyn grabbed a bucket of water from the ground, put a finger in to make sure it was cold. It was freezing. He smiled, and threw the bucket over the prisoners. They were shocked back into consciousness, and saw their captor.

"How much did it take for you to turn, Talyn?" spat Richard, "After all Kalei has done for you. You turn your back on everything just for what? The glory? Or are you just so weak the thirst has turned you so quickly?"

Talyn raised his hand and delivered a vicious backslap to his face. He snarled, but he couldn't fight back.

"Do not talk to me about that bitch Kalei! She was the one who drove me from the Wakanda! She obviously favoured Tegan and Katima above everyone else there! She wouldn't give anybody else the time they needed! If she had, I would be a hundred times stronger than I was when I turned!" he snarled.

"How can you talk about Kalei like that after all she did for you?" shouted Thayne, "I'll kill you!"

"And how do you propose to do that when you are chained up? And you are definitely too weak to call on your Wakanda magic. You are helpless, and we have you at our mercy," said Alec coldly.

"What are you going to do?" asked Thayne, slight fear creeping into his voice now, "If you want to torture us for information then you're out of luck. We'll die before we give up any information."

"We don't need information from you. All the information we could ever need is right here inside our friend's head," said Noals, gesturing towards Talyn, who smiled, showing his fangs.

Thayne fell silent, and hung his head.

"What's the matter, Wakanda? Have you finally realised that there is no escape for you? That resistance is completely and utterly futile?" snarled Noals greedily.

"Not quite," said Thayne, before unleashing an inferno that engulfed the three vampires. But he tired quickly, and the three vampires came out basically unscathed, their clothes burnt, and their faces slightly singed, but overall pretty much unharmed.

"It's going to take more than that to stop us, Wakanda. You are not at your full strength, so an inferno is not going to be strong enough to immobilise us. Try harder next time," said Talyn, grabbing the Wakanda by the scruff of the neck and punching him hard in the face. Blood splattered onto the floor from his mouth, along with a couple of teeth.

Talyn walked back to the wall opposite the prisoners, and took his time choosing a particularly wicked-looking knife, curved and serrated, with an incredibly sharp point. He walked over to Jade, and raised it.

"Prepare yourself, Jade. That chair you hit me with hurt, so now I'm going to repay that pain!"

Jade sat back, one hand resting carelessly on her knee. Thayne could barely stand and it was obvious all the fighting to escape mixed with his anger and rage out bursts had weakened him. Richard was in much the same state. Jade ran a sleeve over her nose. That was all that was still bleeding. All her other wounds from the battle before capture had sealed if not healed completely. She had bruising on her legs and arms, but those two had gone to a shade of mid-healing green/yellow tint. Her cell had been broken by the boys when they escaped adn she ahd done very little flighting before recapture.

Jade watched the boys go back and forth over Kalei. She shook her head. They weren?t strong enough to be screaming like that. Then Thayne?s power surged and quickly died, he fell back on the ground with a punch from Tayln. Jade stood and went to his side, kneeing and checking his pulse.

Talyn walked back to the wall opposite the prisoners, and picked up a particularly wicked-looking knife, curved and serrated, with an incredibly sharp point. He walked over to Jade, and raised it.

"Prepare yourself, Jade. That chair you hit me with hurt, so now I'm going to repay that pain!"

She straightened up and faced him. He grinned manically at her. She smiled right back

?Hmmm? that wouldn?t be silver would it?? She raised a hand and felt the air around the knife. In the same instance, Talyn lunged at her. The knife twisted in his grip and missed her shoulder for which he had been aiming. She turned to face him again and he regained his balance and glared at her.

?You dodge quick for a Wakanda, especially against a vampire's far superior speed.?

Jade kept her face blank ?Just lucky I guess.?

The other vamp, Alec she though she heard Tayln call him, walked over and circled her. ?There?s no vampire in her,and yet I didn?t even see her move.? He paused and looked at her, brushing a hand down her cheek ?No fancy displays of power huh? No shows like your friends here to entertain us with??

Jade turned to look at him ?Too weak. I?m trying to conserve my energy.?

Alec smiled slightly. ?Wit. I like that.?

Talyn growled ?This one?s mine to torture Alec.?

?Well then, get on with it.? Alec motioned toward Jade with his hand and went back to where he had been standing, kicking Richard hard, causing him to join Thayne on the floor.

Tayln grabbed another knife and walked with hunters step toward Jade. ?Let?s see you dodge two knives without moving b*tch.?

He ran at her with a blinding speed. She closed her mind to everything but the knives. Just as he reached her the knives were wrenched by the air from his grasp. They paused in the air in front of Jade for merely a second, then turned and slid into her hands as Tayln regained his footing. They turned to face each other in the same instance. Jade held the knives at her side in a fighters stance and smiled at Tayln ?Butterfingers, can?t even hold a knife properly?

Sin and Kalei walked through the pouring rain, silence was the only thing between them. Sin kept looking forward, trying not to look at Kalei or try to engage in convertation with her. A moment later Kalei spoke that broke the silence, Sin grunted quietly.

"Sin, why did you chase Talyn, even though I told you to stop?" Sin clenched his teeth, then relaxed his jaw.

"Because I promised him that if he turned that I would be the one to kill him, it is better to be dead then to be the undead."

"That still is no reason for you to disregard and order and chase after him like that." Sin turned his head to look at her.

"I know, but a promise is a promise. And to be a loyal friend you need to keep promises, even if you don't agree with what you promised to do." Sin turned back and faced forward, they both fell silent again. A moment later, which seemed like an hour to Sin Kalei broke the silence once more.

"So how have you been doing without my serum?"

"I've had to use a substitute, it's held up but my body is starting to reject it. Yours is the only on made just right where it will last instead of my body rejecting it again." Kalei smiled lightly.

"Looks like my serum is best huh?" Sin chuckled.

"Sure is Kalei, sure is." They fell silent again and continued walking, the rain became a slow drizzel and they walked a little slower. Sin broke the silence this time.

"Kalei." Kalei looked up at Sin.

"Yes?" Sin continued to look forward.

"Do you remember when you found me?" Kalei smiled slowly faded into a memory.

"For the last time, I AM FINE!!!" Fyoura was yelling in retort at the stuned healers who where only following orders in checking her out. Fyoura on the other hand, had been in a fowl mood ever since leaving Madrid. Everything that could have gone wrong on that recovery mission had. In fact, the only thing that had gone even somewhatly right was finding Kalei, but even that had gone over quite as expected; instead of rescuing her, she had found the survivers in a hospital and had to bring them back to the Wakanda headquarters to recover.

Fyoura left the hospital wing in a huff. She returned to her quarters, tossing her bag in a couner and throughing herself on top of her bed. "I need a bath," she mumbled randomly.

She drew a bath of steamy, hot water and slipped in without even rippling the water. "Ah, nothing like a nice bath to help clear the mind and relax the soal." Fyoura took a deep breath then slipped beneith the surface.

Meanwhile, a tall, teenage boy rapped on the door to Fyoura's suit. "Ms. Fyuora, are you there?" He knocked again, but still no answer. "Hum..." He glanced down at the sheet of paper in his hand, "This is the right suit number, and she already left the hospital wing. Ms. Fyuora!" He tried the handle half-heartedly, and to his surprised, the door opened. The boy hesitated for a moment before entering the room. "Uh... Is anyone here?" He ventured past the bed and glanced through the open bathroom door, just in time to see Fyuora's head resurface in the bath.

Fyuora had just enough time to see the boy's face turn a deep shade of red before he quickly ducked out of sight. Fyuora was rather confused by the boy's sudden appearance, but besides that, unfazed. "Uh... hello?" she spoke up from the tub.

"Oh, Ms. Fyuora, I'm really sorry, I didn't know you were in here. I was told to find you, and they said you already left the hospital wing, and, and... ah, I'm sorry!" Fyuora could tell by the tone of his voice that he was under much distress.

"It's alright, you didn't see anything," she giggled a little to herself. "Now what do you need?"

"Oh, right. My name's Jordan and they told me that I was to be you appentice and to do what you needed me to do for you and such."

"That's right," Fyuora tapped her head, remembering. She stepped out of the tub and slipped on a terry cloth robe, her body and hair still dripping wet. She exited the bathroom to notice Jordan facing the wall opposite the bathroom, his face still a slight tinge of pink.

"Er.. do you you need a towel or..."

"No, that's okay. I'll manage." Fyuora pulled her long, sopping wet hair over her shoulder and ran her other hand over her hair. Water droppet began pulling themselves from the hair and collecting in a sphere in her hand. When she was finished, her hair was dry and sphrere about the size of a softball hovered in her right hand. She turned towards the bathroom and effortlessly tossed the sphere back into the bath.

Jordan looked at her in amazement. "Wow! That's amazing. You have such persise control over your power. You must be very strong."

The smile on Fyuora's face fade as she looked away towards the window. "No, I'm not strong at all. If I were, he would still be here with us."

The door opened and snapped shut quickly as Ena lay asleep. A figure paced in the dark, as if trying to decide something. The lights flickered on and Ena wasn't on the bed. "What are you doing in here? Who are you?" Ena asked angrily behind the boy, his arm locked in her clutches.

"Ma'am, I am Riley. I was sent to your chambers by Miss Kalei."

"I see." Ena let his arm go and he held it. "You could've at least knocked."
"Yes, ma'am." Riley nodded quickly.
"Don't worry about it." She sighed. "It's just hard to determine who's on what side these days. Can't be too careful."
"Yes ma'am." His unique silver hair falling in his face.
"You don't have to call me ma'am." Ena looked carefully at him.
"Yes ma'am."

She chuckled at his quick reply. She couldn't blame him. She was an apprentice once. "So then Riley, how old are you?"
"Fourteen, Miss Ena."
"And what element do you have?"
"I'm not sure yet. You're going to be the one to determine that." He looked up at her with his piercing blood red eyes.

There's something about him that seems...different. I can't explain it, but I'll try to find out soon. Perhaps when Kalei returns, I'll ask her for a background check on him.

Kalei fell silent again as the two of them quickly made their way through the long passage ways of the temple. A few scattered munks and priests passed before the as they made their way to the lap. Kalei could remember as if it was yesterday the events that led to Sin becoming part of the team.

***********

"Heads up! He's coming back around!" Melissa shouted as the rest of the team gathered around the small lamp post that stood on the side of the street. It was the last remaining light on the barren city street, but it didn't much matter it was almost sunrise.

Kalei stood next to Melissa, the current group leader, and the second in command, Daniel. Their backs against the metal rod that allowed them to peer into the darkness. All three of them ducked together as something flew over head and took out the street lamp behind them. But they were quickly luminated again when Daniel placed a bright what orb in his hand.

The stranger dared out of the darkness and tackled Kalei onto her back. The wakanda shoved a foot under his abdomen and used his on weight to throw him over her head. The other two were quick to grab both his arms and hold him still as Kalei got back to her feet. The sun was raising fast and soon the vampire was going to be dust.

"Any last words, vamp!" Daniel growled into the creatuer's ear.

"Yeah," he snarled back, "sunlight doesn't effect me." He shoved the two wakanda off his arms as the sun rose above the buildings and engulfed both him and Kalei in its warmth.

Kalei instinctively reached into her pocket and pulled out one of the darts that was strapped to her belt. The vampire rushed at her and right into the dart. He staggered back and fell back onto his haunches. He began to quiever as sweat began to pour down his face. Kalei titled her head to the side for a moment before slowly approaching the man again.

His eyes had remained blood red, but something was missing; or something was there again. Kalei laid a hand on his shoulder and stared deep into his never ending eyes.

"I can help you," she said softly.

"How," he growled back.

"My serum can help control your lust, you can help me fight those that have made you this way."

The vampire looked behind him and saw the other two wakandas approaching them.

"I'll never let them hunt you or treat you unfairly. I swear on my life....?"

"Sin," he looked down for a moment.

"Then I can safely say you are now part of the Wakanda's Sin?" Kalei helped him to his feet, he nodding to tell her eyes.

***********

Kalei couldn't help but smile as she and Sin walked into the lab. It had been such a long time since they first met and so much had happen since then. But she couldn't keep revisiting her past, she needed to find the others.

"Take a sit over there," she pointed to one of the patient tables as she started the machine that would seperate Sin's blood from the plasma she needed. She then walked over to him and strapped him onto the table.

"I'm going to try something new, alright?" Kalei said as she pulled the last strap tight and buckled it.

"What do you have in mind?" Sin watched as Kalei drew two viles worth of blood from his arm.

"I'm going to add another plasma into the mixture, to see if it strengths the material. But your body might reject it."

Kalei took her two viles and placed them carefully into the spinning carasoul and turned the machine up. She then took fresh needles and viles and began to draw her own blood as Sin watched. The whole proceedure took about a half an hour. Kalei collected some of the combined plasma into a needle and slowly walked over to Sin.

"You ready?"

Noals watched as the wakanda female made a fool of Talyn. She rolled her eyes with annoyance as she slowly walked over to the one that had been named Richard. His firey attempt to fight back against the once wakanda intrigued her, and she wondered how he would taste.

She grapped a scalpal from the metal tray that lay on the table and seductively walked up to the chained wakanda, licking her lips. He watched her wearily as she twirled the sharp surgerons tool in her long, delicate fingers.

"How your anger fills your body, wakanda." Noals reached forward and grasped the wakanda's face. "You shall taste so very succulent on my parched tongue."

She brought the scalpal up and slowly dragged the blade acrossed Richard's soft cheek. It cut deep into his flesh and blood oozed from under the blade. She ran the blade from cheek bone to jaw, pulling it away quickly to drag her soft tongue across the fresh wound. The wakanda squirmed as her saliva seeped into his wound.

Noals pulled back and moaned with intense pleasure, throwing her head back to savor the taste. "You are perfect," she hissed.

Thayne watched Richard snarl as the vampire known as Noals licked his wound. Thayne roared in disgust at their oppressors.

"Bastards! Vile fiends! To afraid to fight us fairly, so you tie us down and keep us from attacking back! You're no superior race", he spat at Noals feet. "Bitch," he looked to Alec, "Bastard."

Finally, he rolled his head over to Talyn, who was still in a face off with Jade. Their eyes locked and Thayne spat his words most violently and with the most hostility towards him.

"Backstabbing, good for nothing, traitor! I hope that when we take you down you rot in hell!" Alec walked over to Thayne, looked him over for a moment, and kicked him in the jaw. He grinned as Thayne fell on his side, but his smiled fased as Thayne refused to show he had been hurt. Alec tuned to the other vampires.

"You both have your hands full...Leave this one to me." He spun on his heel and grabbed a small dagger from the wall. He smiled and casually walked back to Thayne, then bent down in front of him.

"You think you're strong, eh? We didn't need to tie you down to deal with you. You weren't powerful enough to put up a fight when we got to you. You aren't even worth converting." He quickly stabbed Thayne in his stomach. He did it again, and again, and again, the licked the blood off.

"All your kind is good for is your blood. It's delectable." Thayne spit on his face, and the vampire lashed back in rage. He grabbed Thayne's hair pulled his head back, and pointed the knife to his throat. alec quickly regained his compsure, though.H e smiled.

'Not many wakanda get to me like you have. I think I'll allow all of your tribe to know that you angered me when they find your body." He took the blade to Thayne's forehead, and dragged it down over his right eye and down to his chin. Then he put his head beneath Thayne's chin and allowed the blood to drip into his mouth.

"Ragghh!!" Alec and Thayne both looked towards the source of the roar. Jade had been pressed against the wall by Talyn, but she had driven the dagger into his chest. He tightened his right hand around her neck and pulled the blade from inside of him. Alec turned back to Thayne cheerily, who had a frightened look on his face.

"Ahh...You see now, don't you? Even the female, who proved to be more of a challenge than you or dear Richy over there, can be brought down by vampire kind. Your friend realized that. He's no traitor. He just knows what's best." Thayne's face had returned from one of terror to one of arrogant pride.

"Talyn is now weak. He sold his soul for strength, but no one makes a deal with devils and comes out on top. He is damned, like all of you weaklings." Alec's eyes brimmed with hatred, and he slammed Thayne's head against the wall. He called for Talyn and Noals to come so he could speak to him. Talyn threw Jade to the side and walked to him. Alec spoke camly, but his voice cracked with anger.

"These wakanda are to proud. They need to be taught their place." Talyn smiled.

"Have anything in mind?"

Good Thayne. Distract them, way to go. Jade?s sarcastic and cynical thoughts ran through her head as she picked her self up and stood, brushing off her jeans Hmm, dropping me from a foot in the air defiantly taught me a lesson.

She looked over toward Thayne and the two vamps cornering him. The female had ignored Alex and was still licking Richards wounds. Jade reached over and picked up the knife Talyn had removed. She still had the other in her other hand. She leaned against the wall, content to watch for now without drawing attention to herself. She closed her eyes and felt the room. Jade started with the far wall and let her energy slowly and lightly cast over the entire space. Good quality weapons. Excellent. Her eyes opened and Alec was looking at her. Tayln was now holding Thayne for Alec and was looking at him and the girl continued to torture Richard. Only Alec had been powerful enough to sense it.

?What did you do Wakanda??

?Nothing, I stood up.?

Alec stared at her ?I felt it, you know I did, now what did you do??

?As I said, nothing. I notice you have good quality weapons here.?

?Obviously, they?ll hurt more.?

Tayln grinned ?Yeah, so shut up you Aussie b*tch, you?ll get your turn?

?Quiet Tayln.? Alec chastised him. He continued to look at Jade with an air of intrigue.

?I was just wondering, don?t wounds caused by silver take longer to heal??

Alec smiled ?Yes, of course, that?s why we practice fighting so much, so we don?t drop the knives on our toes.?

Tayln chuckled.

?Good,? Jade spoke as all the metal weapons in the room lifted up off their shelves and hooks and hovered a few inches in the air, ?comfortin to know you galas got one thing right.?

OOC: I'm making another post before things really get busy. And go me! I'm finally 16!

------------

"So, what do we do now, Miss Ena?" Riley asked.
"I don't know. We're waiting for Kalei and Sin. They have something that they need to do." Ena sighed. "But I fear that the longer we wait, the less time we'll have to save our comrades."
"What happened? Miss Ena, I hope you don't mind my asking?" The boy shyly quivered.
"We were ambushed. And only five of us were left. Talyn, Sin, Priest, Fyuora and myself. Talyn has turned due to the fact that he had been bitten shortly beforehand, and as for Sin...Well, he needs something that is vital to his cooperation with the rest of us Wakanda." Ena replied.

"The four of us and Kalei know what needs to be done. And if I'm thinking correctly, you're going to help us." She turned to the boy.
"Me?" Riley pointed at himself.
"Not just you, but Jordan and Ashley as well. We're going to need all the help we can get." Ena's gripped tightened and she began to shake. "We need our friends back."

"How many were taken?"
"Five. Katima, Tegan, Thayne, Jade and Richard."
"Which one of them was your partner?"
"Richard."
"I see..." The young one fell silent for a moment. "So am I going to have to match his power?"
"No. I don't expect that of you, and I don't think that you could possess those kinds of abilities." Ena replied, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We'll have to figure out your element soon. Because you, Riley, are going to establish your own purpose among the ranks. I'm willing to help you do this. But you have to be ready for it."

"Yes, Miss Ena."
"Do you think you can handle that?"
"Yes, Miss Ena." He nodded.
"Good. I expect no less from you. You're my partner for now. I'm not taking it easy on you. From here on out, you're going to face things that normal people can barely fathom." She said. "C'mon, let's go get the others. When Kalei and Sin come back, we'll be ready."
"But Miss Ena, should you be moving around with your ribs in such a state?"
"They're just bruised. And right now, I don't have time to worry about myself. We've all got to step up and do what's necessary. I can't think about such a thing right now when my friends lives are on the line." Ena said confidently.

"Let's go."
"Yes, Miss Ena."

"You ready?" Sin turned his head to look at Kalei.

"Ready as I will ever be." She stuck the needle into his left arm and slowly pushed the serum into his system, it took only a few moments for this serum to kick in. Sin arched his back and gritted his teeth, his eyes shot open and took on the blood red look it did when he didn't get his serum.

His fangs elongated and his muscles grew, usually at this point he would have lost total control and tried to drink someone. But he was still in full control and felt satisfied of thirst, he then felt a sensation in his chest.

"Kalei, I feel something in my chest. I can't reach it." Kalei bent over closer to Sins face.

"Try to reach it, touch it if you can."

"I'll try." Sin uttered through his groans, reached with in himself and tried to grasp the new sensation trying to course through his vains. After a moment or two he finally touched it, a dark energy aura covered his hand.

"Got it." Kalei looked at the dark energy surrounding Sins hand, watching piece tear off and disappear like black fire.

"Thats impressive, looks like mixing my blood with yours have given you something new. Hope it lasts." Sin grined and laughed lightly.

"Yeah me too." Kalei lossened his restraints, and Sin stood up and cracked his neck. It had been a long time since he saw the world through his blood red eyes, every heart he could see with in the room beating. This new power burning through him which might last and might not, he didn't know. He then heard the sword calling him.

"Sin....... you are in balance now....... I am your weapon to release your power......" The voice cut out and Sin smiled.

Long vivid pink locks obscured a young Katima's vision. She was walking to school. School... yes school.... a place of normality. Or so Kalei had said.

That morning, she and her twin brother had had another fight over the discussion of two days ago. How Kalei suddenly made her, Katima, second-in-command just like that. Now her and her brother were fighting constantly about this. The fight would always end with Katima running out of the room crying and Tegan trying to get her to come back to apologise. It wasn't her choice that she, not him, was second-in-command. She wanted nothing to do with it.

A chill wind flowed past Katima. She drew her coat around her more, her skirt flying slightly up with the wind. It was one of those days where it couldn't decide what kind of weather it was going to be. With her bookbag slung over one shoulder, Katima walked alone to her school.

Upon entering the building, she was swarmed by her friends asking her if she was okay, and if someone had died.

Someone had died, she thought to herself, me.

Making sure Tegan wasn't at his locker, Katima made her way to hers and stuffed her bag in there, roughly taking out the books she needed for her first lesson. She slamed the door shut and came face-to-face with a rather handsome looking boy.

He was a little taller than her, had vivid blue eyes and spikey rich brown hair. Those eyes looked down at her as Katima felt goosebumps rise on her arms. She shivered and looked back up at him.

" Can... can I help you?"
" Oh sorry," the boy said, leaning back, drawing up to his full height. " I'm new here. Are you Katima?"
" Ah... yes I am," she replied. " How did you know?"
" The admin told me you had pink hair. I haven't seen any other girls with pink hair."
" Oh... right."
" They also told me you had pink-red eyes."
" Yeah... so, ah, how can I help you?"
" Well they said that you'd show me around the school. I'm in all your classes."
" Oh ok. By the way, you know my name, but I don't know yours."
" Sorry about that. I'm Gabriel. I know its a girly name, but hey, gotta live with it."

Katima smiled. He was an interesting character indeed. Gabriel huh? He sounded like he was named after one of the angels of God. Rather ironic since she was a Wakanda which hunted creatures that God supposably neglected. She started to get to know this new student Gabriel as they walked to their first class. The bell rang as soon as they entered through the door.

Taking seats in the middle of the classroom, Katima and Gabreil kept talking until the teacher entered. History was their first lesson of the day. The teachers tarted drawling on about the Crusades when Tegan entered the room in a rush. His face was rather red, either from running or embarrassment. He took a look around the classroom, seeing Katima sitting next to a guy he'd never seen before. Katima noticed the glance and glared back at him. Gabriel seemed to have noticed this.

" Did you two have a fight?" he asked simply.
" Yeah, a big one," Katima replied, looking back at Gabriel. Gabriel watched Tegan come up the stairs to their row and sat a few seats away from the two. He looked back at Katima, who, he could tell, was angry.

" Is he your boyfriend?" he queried, hoping it wasn't a touchy subject.
" What! No way!" Katima yelped, making the whole class and the teacher look at her. Tegan looked at his twin with a confused look on his face. Katima blushed and sank down into her chair. She turned to Gabriel. " He's definitely NOT my boyfriend! He's my twin brother."

It was Gabriel's turn to blush. " Oops. Sorry."
" It's ok. To outsiders, it must look like we're like that."
" Yeah, it does."

Katima looked at Tegan then back at the ceiling. She wondered what Gabriel was doing now. It ended up that Gabriel turned out to be her first boyfriend, much to Tegan's disgust. It was hard to keep the secrets of her race and her abilities from Gabriel, especially when he queried her much about it. About why her looks were so different from everyone else's. About her parents. About her brother Tegan. She could even hear hints of jealousy when Gabriel talked about Tegan, and vice versa. The only reason the two broke up was because Kalei had decided to take both Tegan and Katima to England, to the Manor. It was a rather regretful goodbye, but she never stopped liking him.

Sighing, Katima sat up, still with the blanket around her. Looking at her knees, she decided to ask Tegan something.

" Tegan.... since nothing's going to happen for a while... I'm going to ask you some questions."
Tegan looked up at her with his blood red eyes. He knew where this was going. " Sure Katima."
" Tegan..." Katima seemed to be struggling within herself to ask the question. " ... why... why did you leave me?"

Not a great portion of the day had pasted by when priest woke up, a little confused to where she was at the time after getting lost in a dream or a memory. they were all the same, she couldn't tell. she threw the sheets off to the side and got up heading to the bathroom. by the time she was out the shower, Ashley was waiting by the door. Priest didn't waste any time after getting dressed, the girl had been knocking on the door for a good five minutes by now.

"just a second." priest opened the door and walked back in the room after she entered."Ashley"

"Were getting ready to leave soon Miss." She said after watching Priest pinned her hair up quickly."I see." Priest walked to the corner of the room getting her bag before looking at Ashley and heading outside the room. The girl was quickly behind her after tucking a few strains of brown hair behind her ears.

Priest and Ashley walked down the hallway .Priest looked back at Ashley slowing her walk a bit. They stopped seeing Ena and Riley

."we need to be ready when Kalei and sin come back." Ena looked at Ashley for a second and then Priest

"Right" priest stretched a little and looked at them.

Ena started walking down the hall again heading to Fyoura's room. Priest looked down in her bag for a bit and then looked at Ashley. Before handing her a bottle of holy water."Hold this."

Priest was rechecking her things to see if she had everything or was running low on anything."I'll be back in a second..." Priest walked back in the room. She needed more holy water, she left Ashley in the hallway with Riley still holding the bottle of holy water. Ashley sighed slightly and threw the bottle in the air catching it before leaning back against the hallway wall." This should be an interesting trip." She said and looked down.

Kalei watched Sin for a moment. She wondered if this new serum was really going to work or if it would back-fire like the first few did. Guess they didn't have to time to really test it. She gathered a few more needles and viles, shoving them into her pants pockets.

"Well, I would love to test out this new serum, but we really must be going." Kalei motioned towards the door.

Sin nodded as he followed the Wakanda towards the door, finding his sword placed upon one of the metal tables. Kalei heard the sword slid off the table as they broke into the large stone hallway. A woman was waiting for them and joined Kalei's side as they made their way towards the center of the temple.

"Wakanda Leader, your team has been throughly checked and have met with their new partners. Would you like us to send them to the chamber?" the woman conveyed.

Kalei turned a corner, Sin not far behind her before answering. "Yes." The woman nodded and turned down one of the other halls along their way.

"The chamber?" Sin spoke up, walking up beside Kalei.

"Yeah, while I've been away, the Wakanda elders have been putting their magic to work by making a portal like traveling device. Similar to the Star-trek teleporter. But there's a catch to ours, though." Kalei turned two more corners and then walked into a massive chamber with a circular cement slab in the center.

"And that would be?" Sin asked as he took in the chamber's sight.

"The only ones that can pass through the portal are Wakandas or friends of the Wakanda. All others are...lost some where in between the two portal locations." Kalei looked to the floor for a moment before looking back at Sin. "Now we wait for the others."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Noals pulled the wakanda she was playing with from the wall, ripping his cuffs from where they were screwed to. She placed the limp body in front of her, holding firmly to his neck as the Wakanda woman played with her little toys.
"You foolish child," Noals hissed at the woman. "You may chance hitting your fellow Wakanda, but I'm sure you'll never manage to hit me.
Sin looked around at the massive chamber, he looked up at the dome ceiling and saw it almost disappeared because of the height of it. He marveled at how much work it took to build this amazing portal. As he heard Kalei say that Wakanda and friends of the Wakanda, he was relived to here that.
"Good to know I can walk through without dying." Kalei looked back at him with a small smile on her face and turned back to the portal. Sin suddenly picked up the sent of the others, and some newbies. He grinned.
"Well, this will be interesting." Sin looked at his hand, then a mischievious smile spread across his face. He ran over to a wall and crawled up it until he was over the doorway, Kalei turned around and found him on the wall. She put her hand on her hips and looked at Sin.
"Sin, what the hell are you doing? Come down here." Sin shook his head and held his finger to his lips.
"Shhhhh, I haven't done a prank in awhile. They need the mood lightener." Kalei shook her head at him and turned back to the portal. A few moments later a girl Sin was not familiar with appeared through the door way, he dropped down silently and snuck up behind the girl.
"Mmmmm, Fresh Wakanda meat." The girl screamed and turned around as she swung her arm at Sin, he grabbed her arm just in time. He started laughing, exposing his long fangs, the girl backed away and hid behind Kalei. Kalei gave Sin a mean look.
"That wasn't nice Sin, You scared her half to death!." Sin shrugged.
"Sorry, the newbie doesn't know who I am. I didn't realize who she was until I said it." Sin approached the girl and bowed his head to her, he lifted it back up and looked at her with his blood red eyes.
"Sorry I scared you. It's in my nature to scare people, names Sin." The girl started to studder as she spoke.
"Your... your... your th..... the vampire?" Sin nodded.
"Well more like half vampire, other half is human. And you name is?"
"My name is Ashley." Sin hit his head with the palm of his hand.
"And your a signed to..."
"Me." Sin turned around with and ahh crap look on his face.
"Priest, how ya doin." A moment later Ena and her apprentice followed along with Fyoura and her apprentice. Sin grunted.
"God, I could have gotten all of you."
"Huh?" Ena asked.
"Nevermind, Lets go if we can." Sin said as he waited for Kalei gave the word.
?I?ve noticed over the years that age doesn?t bring wisdom, only arrogance.? Jade flipped one of the knives in her hand and watched the vampires. ?Where?s Tegan?
?Who?? the female vamp looked at her with a mix of distain and confusion.
?Tegan... must be that male Wakanda Malik had brought upstairs earlier.? Alec turned toward Jade. ?Why??
?Well, see,? Jade explained as she set down one of the knives and loaded a couple guns, ?I know you bastards are fast. I know your good, that how ya got this old,?
she pointed the gun and two knives slid into her boots, another two into her belt as she talked,
?But I?m not you?re typical Wakanda. I?m not in this for the team spirit, to save our ?leader?, hell, I?ve never even met her and she?s certainly no boss of mine. These boys,? she indicated her fellow captives, ?They?ve got their own reasons for bein in this. Let them defend those reasons themselves,?
Jade was already near the door, she raised more weapons around her and backed towards it, keeping a back shoulder to the wall so she could see the whole room. Jade kicked the door soundly and it swung open with a crash. ?So those stairs, would they be this way then??
She backed up until her foot hit the landing. A narrow stone staircase, just wide enough for one person stretched up behind her. Jade turned and ran up the stairs. She had to get to Tegan, then get the hell out of this place...
You walk on like a woman in suffering
Won't even bother now to tell me why
You come alone, letting all of us savor the moment
Leaving me broken another time
You come on like a bloodstained hurricane
Leave me alone, let me be this time
You carry on like a holy man pushing redemption
I don't want to mention, the reason I know
That I am stricken and can't let you go
When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will I run
You don't know what your power has done to me
I want to know if I'll heal inside
I can't go on with a holocaust about to happen
Seeing you laughing another time
You'll never know how your face has haunted me
My very soul has to bleed this time
Another hole in the wall of my inner defenses
Leaving me breathless, the reason I know
An all too familiar song which played instantly in Tegan's mind as Katima asked the question that he had been anticipating this entire time...being patience...taking his time to find his own answer for her.
"I suppose this is as good as a place then any other..." he responded has he sat crosslegged...looking at Katima; he head down looking at the floor. He didn't know if she couldn't look at him for how angry she was at him...or for shame?
"I've missed you dear brother..." Katima suddenly began to sniffle and cry...continuing to hide herself from Tegan's gaze.
"As I have miss you..." responded Tegan...only to be met with sadden frustration immidiately from Katima.
"Then why did you leave...why didn't you come back!" still she did not look at him...but screamed into the stone floor.
He wanted to come over to her and comfort him...but at this point she would try to rip his throat out...so he waited...
"Believe me Katima..." Katima fell silent..."there has not been a day that I have not let you out of my thoughts...however...you must understand...I had to leave..."
"But..." she quickly brought her head up only to be met by Tegan's big bright red eyes. Her pink-tinted once looked inside him...and saw the young boy that once was her sister and cried.
In that moment she got off of the floor in a great speed and found herself in Tegan's arms once again...
"I needed you Tegan...I needed you..." the blanket wrapped around them both as Tegan comforted her...brushing her hair back like he used to do.
"Please listen Katima to what I have to say...we may not get another moment like this..." she didn't responded...but he knew that she was listening intentivly without interruption.
"Two years ago...I couldn't stand being in the shadows anymore. I couldn't stand being lesser than you Katima..."
This surprised her...he was jealous...?
"I know you're probably thinking a form of jealousy...and that is a yes and no sis. You see...I couldn't understand why you were chosen over me...and me being put as a mere bodyguard...a watcher during the day...fighter during the night. Life was tough...and many questions flooded my mind...questions that no one could answer...answers that needed to be known and found."
"You entered a life that I could not follow...for years Kalei trained you...all attention was drawn to you...but none was for me. But I loved you still...and continue to do so...but I had to find myself.''
"That night...the night that I left...all sense of oneness with anything left me...and to not cause conflict...I left...to find what I was searching for...to subside my rage of it all."
Katima looked up at him...and again noticed the red eyes...the eyes of their heritage. Eyes only she got when she was in a rage...she understood what he was talking about...but wondered why his eyes stayed the way they were...they used to be blue...
"You see...my eyes do not change...my powers of light and dark are balanced...in my time away...I found my answers."
"What did you do while you were away?" she asked.
"I wandered the desert...training myself like I always did...but more importantly...I traveled the world...met Jade in Australia. I saw everything that I wanted to see before committing myself to the Wakanda. Continuing to search out vampires...I got to see the world...and I see it now through new eyes."
Katima smiled and giggled alittle...remembering reference to his new red eyes...but behind the humor she sensed a seriousness.
''But Tegan...if this is true...then why aren't you fighting like you used too..." she backed away a little and gave him a playful, sarcastic look..."you're fighting skills are quite pathetic from what I remember."
"I'm binding my time...waiting for the right moment...no sense in me charging back into the Wakanda blind and foolheartedly."
"Why?"
"Because my dear sister...things...are not quite what they seem. That appearances...can be deceiving."
There was a racket downstairs below them and Katima looked at the door...disrupting the conversation...finally when it died down a little bit...Katima turned back to Tegan. Before she could say anything to add...Malik walked through the door.
(OOC: Time to move the story along a little)
"She's escaped!" cried Noals, "We have to go after her!"
"There's no point," said Alec.
"She can't get out of the castle. She's got nowhere to go," said Talyn, "For now we should concentrate on these two." He gestured towards Thayne and Richard.
"Excellent. I've always wanted to play with a Wakanda," hissed Noals greedily, drawing a poker from the fire and advancing towards Richard.
Talyn smiled at Noals' lust for pain, and drew a particularly long syringe from the trolley. He walked over to Thayne, and pierced the soft skin of his arm with the needle, and shot a small amount of the green substance within into his veins.
"This is an anti-coagulant. They're normally used to thin the blood to get rid of blood clots, but when there are no clots present, all they do is thin the blood out. There is going to be less and less oxygen travelling to your brain as I inject you with more and more of this. I'm going to do it very slowly, just so I can hear you scream, Thayne. Eventually you will end up completely brain-dead. There will be next to no oxygen running through your veins, and your brain will suffocate."
"What do you want from us, Talyn? You have all the information you need. Why do you insist on torturing us?" said Thayne weakly, "We can't harm you. We're both too weak."
"I don't want to let you die. You are going to make us very happy for the next week, and I am not going to let you die before this is over."
Talyn stood up straight, and left the room, gesturing to Noals that he would be back soon. He turned the corner and searched around for an unoccupied room, which he found a few doors down from where Thayne and Richard were being tortured. He crept in and shut the door, drawing from his belt an item given to him by Sin back at the hospital. An injection gun. He loaded it with a phial of the serum that Sin had given him before he had turned, and shot it into his neck. He fell to the floor and spasmed quietly, foam dribbling from the corners of his mouth. His muscles tensed, and his veins stuck out from under his skin. His fangs retracted slightly, making them smaller than before.
When the spasming had stopped, Talyn drew another object from his pocket. It was a slim black cellphone, a direct link to someone he needed to contact right now. He flipped it open and hit the speeddial button. He held the phone to his ear, and when the voice answered, he said:
"Kalei. It's me. We're inside. I've had to torture Thayne and Richard, but I injected Thayne with an anaesthetic muscle re-builder, making out that it was an anti-coagulant. Thayne's going to be fine, and I think Jade should be, but I'm not so sure about Richard. I don't want to stop the vampire torturing him in case she gets suspicious. I haven't managed to meet Malik yet, but that should come soon. Rumours going round the castle suggest that Tegan and Katima are in the dungeons, and Malik is spending a lot of time with them. Jade has escaped, and I would assume that she's looking for Tegan. I've just administered my second-to-last dose of the serum, so its not going to be long before I can't stop the thirst. I'll call again when I have more information."
And with that, he hung up. He left the room, clearing away the phial and slipping the injection gun back into his belt. As he opened the door, a fist swung out from the darkness and impacted with his face, almost certainly breaking his nose. He flew backwards into the room, blood pouring from his face, and slammed into the floor, sliding across into the far wall. He looked up and saw Noals silhouetted in the light that was flooding in from the door.
"So, you're still working for the Wakanda. I knew it," she snarled, walking over to him, "I smelt the Wakanda in you the minute I met you."
Talyn groaned and tried to roll over, clutching his broken nose, when Noals delivered a swift and brutal kick to his ribs. He was slammed into the wall again, and Noals grabbed him by the collar and lifted him to his feet. She punched him again and again in the face, chest and ribs, breaking bones with her punches, causing more blood to ooze from his face. He coughed, blood splattering from his mouth.
"You can't even fight back!" she said, laughing, "I knew you were weak. You still believe that what you are doing is noble! You are a fool!"
"Not as big a fool as you," he spluttered through another mouthful of blood, "You've left your back unguarded..."
"What!?" shouted Noals, turning, to see no-one standing behind her, "You are a fool!" But by that time, Talyn had delivered a bone-breaking blow of his own, directly into her face, throwing her back into the hall.
"Rule number one: don't get distracted," he said, drawing a knife from his belt, one that he had slipped in during the torture session, and slicing across Noals' face, drawing blood. She brought her hand up and felt the blood. Her eyes turned venomous, and she leapt to her feet.
"You cut me! How dare you!" she screamed, and leapt at him...
"Tegan, where are you going?" Kalei shouted over the roar of machinery from the temple. "Tegan!" Despite Kalei's shouting and protest, the boy did not listen to her and continued into the tall grass. Kalei took a deep sigh and dropped her shoulders.
If only I could tell you the truth, Tegan. If only I could tell you what really happened to your parents.
"Kalei," a very soft voice followed closely by a tug on her shirt. Kalei brought her head around to see a young girl, around nine years of age looking up at her.
Soft pink locks laid in a mess upon her head as the girl rubbed her eyes. Most have just woke up, Kalei thought. Kalei knelt down to the young girl and brushed a few strains of hair from her face.
"What is it, Katima?"
"I heard yelling and Tegan was crying." Katima's eyes became suddenly glossy as tears began to welled up.
"I was trying to have Tegan come back, but he was pretty upset about your parents." Kalei tried to smile as she ran her thumb along Katima's cheek.
"I wish I would have known our parents," Katima's sentence was broke and chappy as she threw herself into Kalei's arms, sobbing openly.
"I know, my dear. I know." Kalei ran her hand over Katima's soft pink hair as she held the girl, wishing desprately that things were different.
Kalei placed her cell phone back into her pocket as she ushered the others all closer to the center slab as the massive stone door closed behind them.
"Listen up every one. When we get to Malik's quarters we'll be splitting up again to make our search effective and quick. Ena, you will take the dungeouns, Fyoura, the first floor, and Priest, you'll take the second floor. Don't lose sight of your partner at all times. Sin, find Talyn, he'll need your help I'm sure." Kalei turned to her right and stepped up onto the platform.
"Where will you be?" Sin asked.
"I'm going to find Malik. We have an old score to settle." Kalei motioned for the others to step up onto the slab.
"Every one, take each others' hands, and don't let go." The group made a circle upon the slab, grasping a hold of the person next to them, all turning their attention back to Kalei once again. The Wakanda leader said a small chant, and before any one could take another breath, they all found themselves in total darkness. The crisp cold current nipping at their faces. In an instant they were all transported into a small room smelling of fresh blood.
"Good luck to you all." Kalei shouted as she ran through the front door.
Noals' attack missed as Talyn rolled out of the way. The vampiress was quick on her feet as she spun around, watching as the spy rose to his feet as well.
"Clever things you are. Now I understand master Malik's fasination with your kind, oh how I wonder what your leader must be like." Noals lips pressed together as she displayed a wicked smile.
"You're all the same," Tayln grunted.
"Are we now?" Noals slowly slid past Tayln, and towards the door.
She slowly bent down, reaching into the hallway and throwing something towards Tayln. The spy caught it only to drop it in horror. It was Richard's body, missing its severed head, every drop of blood missing from the corpse.
"You f*cking bitch!" Tayln raced at the vampiress as she slipped back into the hallway.
Sin bolted out the door and sniffed the air, looking for Talyns scent. He picked it up and smiled.
"Good, I found you." Sin rushed down the hall way, his sword drawn and ready for use. Vampire guards tried to block hs way but he just bulldozed over them and continued on his way. He stopped at a fork in the hallway, sniffing the air once more. He picked it up once more and bashed through a closed door, he found Thayne hanging weakly with another vampire now looking at Sin.
Sin clamped his teeth down and snarled, he sheathed his sword and bashed the vampire with some of his strength. Sending the vampire into the wall, a huge hole was left in the wall. The vampire out cold, Sin grinned and went over to Thayne, he undid his restraints and threw Thaynes arm over his shoulders, carrying him to the wall. He tapped Thayne a few times on the face.
"Thayne, where is Talyn? Where is he?" Thayne pointed weakly to a room a few doors down, he saw a vampiress and Talyn fighting. Sin bolted over and managed the grapple the women from behind, bring his arms under hers and his hands locked on the back over her head. She staretd to struggle.
"What the hell is this? Who dares attempts this?" Sin smiled and spoke in her ear.
"Sin comes for everyone. And I've got you in one of the oldest moves in the book." Sin twisted his arms and she fell limb he set her down and looked to Talyn.
"How ya doin?" Sin said casually,Talyn looked to the body.
"She dead?" Sin down at the women and shook his head.
"Nope, just out cold. She'll be pissed when she wakes up. So lets go." Sin said as he walked back to Thayne and picked him up Talyn stopped him.
"We can't leave yet." Sin looked at him questionable.
"Why not?"
"Were forgeting someone."
"Who?" Talyn went back into the room and brought out a headless body.
"We forgot Richard." Sin's eyes opened wide and his mouth had dropped open.
"Who did this?" Talyn looked to the woman, Sin let Thaynes arm slack and he fell to the floor. Sin's anger build and he roared, it echoed through the hall way. Sins body was engulfed in the dark energy and he drew his sword, he walked over to the motionless body and held the it to her throat. A snarl across his face, Talyns hand rested on Sins shoulder. He turned his head to look at Talyn with his blood red eyes.
"Sin we have to go, we can take care of her later." Sin growled and sheathed his blade, the dark energy slowly disapated. He picked Thayne back up and walked through the tortuer room, Talyn following with Richards body in hand. His head resting on the body.
"Whatever you do, stay behind me." Ena said to Riley.
'This is the moment of truth.'
"Are you ready?" She asked him.
He simply nodded. "I understand if you're scared. I am too." Ena nodded reassuringly. "Okay, let's go."
Ena and the young one crept around the dank dungeon corridors. Meeting no trouble at first. "I think something is going on upstairs." Ena said, noticing that she had met no resistance yet.
----------
"Check the dungeons! I want no Wakanda unaccounted for. There could be more down there!" A random vampire shouted, and a pack of five rushed down, flying through the corridors and searching every cell.
----------
"Riley, stay here." Ena said, lowering him into a dark corner.
"Someone's coming!" He pointed behind her, and she whipped around.
"Wakanda!" A vampire yelled. And Ena threw off her jacket over Riley, concealing him from the blood sucker's sight. The other four rushed to the narrow corridor.
"You want some? Then come get it!" Ena yelled and thrusted her arms out in front of her, releasing the fire she had kept hidden inside.
One of the five vampires had been severely burned, however, Ena did not manage to kill any of them. They began to creep closer and Ena began to prepare herself. "Let us eat her. I want her flesh!" One lunged forth and Ena just barely kneeled down quick enough to escape a bite on the shoulder.
She swept her leg out and tripped another. While the other two tried to attack her from either side, she pulled out two darts and stabbed them both in the arm. They stepped back and growled in pain. Ena panted lightly as she waited for their next move. "I thought that you were going to eat me." She hissed coldly.
"Oh don't worry. We will." One replied sharply.
"Alright." Ena smirked. "Let's dance!"
With that said, Ena jumped to the left where she kicked off the wall and struck one of their faces, knocking him onto his back. She swung around and kicked another squarely in the ribs. He growled in pain and fell down as well. "So, what'll it be?" Ena sighed, tiring.
A light emerged in the corridor and Ena decided to take a chance. She turned around for the darkness of the dead end, and more importantly, Riley. He was watching with fear, awe, and amazement. "On the count of three, I want you to run, straight for the light. We're going to go upstairs. Okay?" She whispered.
"Yes Miss Ena."
"Good." She nodded and helped him up quickly.
"One..." Ena positioned him next to her. "Two..." She held her arms out in front of her and listened for the footsteps that quickly approached. "...Three!" A blast of air shot forward and Riley began to run. By the time he emerged from the dark, the five vampires were blown over by Ena's attack. She too, followed closely behind her young counterpart and ran for the light.
'We're coming to save you guys...'
With that, Ena heard a loud roar. It rang through the dungeons. It was Sin.
