Dreams/Siam Shade : Too bad they broke up. I've yet to hear an SS song that I could hate. I've also yet to hear a band who could play them SS beats that remind me of railroad crossings.

Greedy/Momo : I hated this song the first time I heard it but I grew to love the vocals and the unusual blend of instruments. The catchy, hypnotic beat gets me everytime.

Equal Romance/??? : Err... a mediocre girl chorus singing a rather mediocre song. It didn't have as much wordplay as I expected from a Ranma 1/2 song but it never fails to make me feel giddy.

Save my Heart/Yasue Satou : The second of Eden's Bowy's ending themes. I found the accompanying animation cute.

Kimi no Machi Made (To Your Town)/Asian Kung Fu Generation : The incredible song that drew me into AKFG craze. The rather odd lilting in the chorus and the repetitive vocals at the end added uniqueness to the song and gave it that quirky AKFG touch. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Tightrope/Charcoal Filter : Catchy, upbeat, noisy. Those and the assertive theme running through the lyrics make it sound very Saiyuki.

Sobakasu (Freckles)/Judy and Mary : First anime song I liked. Probably 'cause it came from Rurouni Kenshin and have ever heard of a girl sing as loud.

Vanilla/Gackt : One word: sensual. The way Gackt sings reeks of sexual innuendo. The trumpets blaring in the background aren't helping either. I love it to pieces.

LAST SONG, Unplugged Version/Gackt : I like the original better. Though it gave Gackt the chance to show off his vocal range, the piano wasn't able to complement his powerful voice well. Thumbs down.

Green Bird/Gabriel Robin : A haunting chorale used in Cowboy Bebop's fifth episode. It sounds like a folk song, really. Very relaxing piece.

MF Doom: Hoecakes A crazy rap song, lol. Tony (generic npc #3) talked about MF Doom a little bit once, so I downloaded a few songs.
Pax217: PSA I don't listen to Pax too much, but they're not too bad of a band, comparable in sound to 311. They bwoke up. ;_;
Blindside: As You Walk Another one I don't listen to that often. If you've heard a Blindside song before, I wouldn't use that to judge whether you like them or not, lol. Their albums all sound very different.
Pavement: Type Slowly I've been on a big Pavement rush lately. They were a '90s indie band, and pretty much the first one I've enjoyed thoroughly. Try them out.
Soundgarden: My Wave Seriously, who doesn't like Soundgarden?
Reality Check: Plastic The song and band name are both generic and sucky, but these guys had some really original, quality stuff, especially for being a Christian band. Very good at going from mellow, funky sounds to slightly-distorted, guitar-driven rock. Too bad they only put out one album.
Soundgarden: Pretty Noose Again, Soundgarden rocks
NOFX: Don't Call Me White I listen to some '90s punk on occasion, when I can take the whininess, lol. When I can, this is a good song.
Live: Life Marches On From "Birds of Pray". Good band, bad album.
Hoobastank: Out of Control From "The Reason". Same as with Live, good band, bad album, heh.
9. Volcano[/i'], Damien Rice
At first I was like "Someone else here listens to Volcano?"... but then I realized that was a song title and not an artist.

I didn't realize that's what this thread was by just the title, but now that I know, here we go:

1. Deftones - White Pony - "Elite"
2. Hot Snakes - Automatic Midnight - "Our Work Fills the Pews"
3. Dr. Dog - Toothbrush - "Swamp Livin'"
4. David Bowie - Reality - "Try Some, Buy Some"
5. Iron & Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days - "Cinder and Smoke"
6. Simon & Garfunkel - Columbia Studio Recordings 1964-1970 - "America"
7. Ween - The Pod - "Awesome Sound"
8. The Raveonettes - Chain Gang of Love - "Dirty Eyes (Sex Don't Sell)"
9. Sonic Youth - Happiness Is a Warm Gun - "Burning Farm"
10. Wellwater Conspiracy - Brotherhood of Electric Operational Directives - "Right of Left Field"

Not a bad list in my opinion.

Saw ULX looking at this and decided it would be pretty fun;

Trivium--Like Light to the Flies

Feeder--Tumble and Fall

X-Ecutioners--It's Goin' Down

Nightwish--She is My Sin

Jem--They

Our Lady Peace--Thief

Jimmy Eat World--Pain

Mindless Self Indulgence--Royally ******

Supergrass--St. Petersburgh

Aquabats--Captain Hampton

Marilyn Manson--The Beautiful People
Again, that's a pretty good selection of my taste in music. The couple I highlighted are ones I've only listened to a couple of times that I liked when they came out, but apart from those, that turned out pretty nicely.

(My pride depends on whether or not you highlight the covered part >_<)

I'mma do it yet a third time, again with my Launchcast Radio. This insures less of a chance of something repeating, and a much broader selection of music.

Oh, Jake, you shall be proud of the first one. xP

1. Yngwie Malmsteen; "Black Star"
2. Interpol; "Specialist"
3. Queens of the Stone Age; "No One Knows"
4. Underoath; "When the Sun Sleeps" >: O CRAP!
5. David Bowie; "Andy Warhol"
6. Phyllis Dillon; "Remember That Sunday" what the crap is this? o_O
7. Cornershop; "Lessons Learned From Rocky I to Rocky III"
8. The Stills; "Yesterday Never Tomorrow"
9. Coheed and Cambria; "The Suffering"
10. Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth; "For Good"

Meh...the only one I listened all the way through was number ten. My radio is probably a little TOO broad.

Aquabats--Captain Hampton

Ehem, anyway:

Pixies: Debaser I'm not really a big Pixies fan, but I'll concede that this is a great song and everyone should hear it.

Rob Dougan: Clubbed to Death If you've got ears and you've seen anything about the Matrix, you've heard this song. The whole album (Furious Angels) in general is great, especially the Ãœber Duber Special Edition, which comes in a huge, book-like package with big pictures all through it.

Ghoti Hook: Cowboy This is just a fun song, lol. I especially like the whip cracking, heh. (As if anyone knows what I'm talking about, lol.)

Muse: Apocalypse Please I can't think of anything to say for this one, really. It's Muse, and Muse is fantastic rock. Since the album (Absolution) revolves around reactions to the end of the world, this song kicks it off very well.

Tatu: Not Gonna Get Us I like the damn song, dammit.

Pavement: Blue Hawaiian What happens when Pavement and a lounge DJ get in a fight, and Pavement wins.

Soul Coughing: Murder of Lawyers It's pretty standard-fare Soul Coughing, but with a lot more sampling and crazy instrument bashing, sort of comparable to Sonic Youth.

Del tha Funkee Homosapien: Mistadobalina Del's a great rapper. Go worship him.

Audioslave: Cochise Audioslave, while not quite as good as Soundgarden or Rage Against the Machine, is still a worthy successor to both, in my opinion at least. Elements of both bands sneak in there and mix together, along with some interesting new stuff of its own devising.

Brian Eno: An Ending Good music, in a weird way. As ambient music is supposed to be like, you can either listen to it in the background of other activities, or actively enjoy it by itself.
