1. *drags AJ back here and volunteers him without him being asked* AJ!!! AJ WANTS TO BE MINISTER/PRIEST PERSON, JAMMIES!! :D lol. Kidding, kidding. (Unless he really wants to. O_o) But James, THAT is precisely the reason that I will never ask anyone here to marry me for fun or otherwise. If I WAS ask, for whatever reason, I wouldn't say no and have them think of me as an evil person, but I'd devise an entirely new ceremony, and a new term for the word "marriage" and so on, as to make it as differDent as possible. I hate following everyone else in that respect. And yes, Jammies is your new nickname. :p
 2.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel That has absolutely nothing to do with my point. I don't feel I'm brushing off the significance of what happened whatsoever. In fact, I know I am not. I personally know plenty of people right there and some that were even in it, rather than simply close to it. It doesn't matter because that wasn't part of my post. The fact of the matter is that that incident has nothing to do with this blackout in any respect. Any damn thing I read about New York in terms of anything has to make a reference back to 9-11 for no apparent reason etc.
Well sorry for not, by osmosis, realizing you were targeting the media, and not realizing that you weren't knocking off the significance or 9/11. From your other post, it seemed to me, that you just didn't care that New Yorkers went through 9/11. Though I know now, you weren't acting that way, I didn't, when I responded to your point. I do agree the media is making so many references to it, and it is quite annoying, but then again, how could they not? That, I believe, was the largest single attack on the United Sates, ever. But yeah, it's annoying. I'm just glad that your opinion was "get over 9/11". Thank you. ^_^;;; (*coughi'mcrazy@_@cough*)
Originally posted by Shinobi1827 Forgive me if this ha already been answered, I haven't read it all; I don't feel like reading it all, hence i won't. From what i heard, it was not a lightning strike. Something happened in it, and they had to shut it down. It was not in Canada, it was Con Ed Power Plant in New York... ...If you?re wondering how i know this, my brother-in-law is the number one stress technician in his company, which means he knows all this stuff about it. He works in power plants all the time *blush* *boast mode off*
I apologize for my early assumption, because I was going by what I personally heard on the radio, and the early 9:00 News, when I got my own power back. Currently, I'm going to withdraw finger pointing, because it's a fat lot of help, really. The NYC Mayor, Bloomberg, I guess, was told that it happened where I said it was, and then the Toronto Mayor started publicly yelling at America saying "WHEN HAVE THEY EVER TAKEN THE BLAME FOR WHAT THEY DO?", when I don't think Bloomberg spontaneously started fingerpointing, he was misinformed. lol. No one really knows where it started, and the US and Canadian governments are going to try and work together to look into what happened. Because so far, I've heard... *counts* five different version. So I'm sorry for my early judgements, but at the time when I just got my power back, the only two versions I'd heard were the ones I mentioned. It's the early, unclear details, you know? And it's alright to boast about where your brother-in-law works. If a family member of mine was the number one in something, you've bet I'd boast about it. Because it's nice to be really super good at something. :)
Originally posted by BabyGirl I do find it a tiny bit ridiculous how easily the press seemed to forget about the other mertopolitan areas affected by the blackout. The other cities and surrounding suburbs had weather just as hot, and millions of people were caught without power there, too. Detroit residents didn't even get their electricity restored until later than NYC's...but ah well, I suppose New York City has earned itself some fame over the years :)
I don't know what newspaper you read, but that is not entirely true. Both my newspaper, and the television here isn't forgetting cities like Detroit and Cleveland. In fact, I know that Cleveland had a water problem, and that it wasn't safe to drink. And oddly, I wondered how Nersey would cope. I didn't forget about Ohio. I also knew that Detroit didn't get the power restored until later, and a lot of people were waiting for a long time for gas. And I saw the pictures too, of disgruntled customers waiting for gas, and others trying to get their money out of banks. To me, it seemed like everyone there was angry about the power outages, including the Mayor, when the Detroit government officials didn't set up any ways to cope, if their city was hit by terrorists(or in this case, a lack of something vital), and look what happened to them. NYC, too, has been on an Orange status since 9/11. However, and non-sarcastically, I would like to know, truthfully, what the reactions of many citizens in Detroit were, to the black out; because there is, I believe a large possibility that I am mistaken in my assumption of the reaction of Detroiters. And I believe you live there, or close by, in any case, so you could tell me better, how reactions were. ^_^
Originally posted by DeathKnight PS. "the great New York City"? LOL.
Well and excuse me, Kenneth, for having a little pride in the city I've grown up so close by, for all my life. I'm sure that San Antonio feels like home to you, and you're probably a little proud of San Antonio too. And in the event that you don't like where you live, Well though noogies because I like where I live by. And when you like where you live, you take pride in it. So I'm entire sorry for voicing my opinion about something I feel strongly about, Ken. I'll be sure not to do it again, JUST so that you don't get bothered by it.
 3. OH MY GOSH ZERO! Haven't seen you in forever, man! ^_^ Yeah, I can imagine how it was for you. The pictures of NYC w/o lights are breath taking. Good for you that you were a good sumaritan directing traffic and all. I want everyone to see this, to take note. THIS is the spirit of the great New York City. Sure, it's where everyone has an opinion, where half the city is quarreling with the mayor about one thing or another, but after what everyone went through with 9/11, when times get tough, New Yorkers are there for eachother, and they always pull together. When I was with out power, my family lit a bunch of candles, my sister got to brag to my mom that "Ha! You're glad NOW that I kept all our candles." and we sat around listening to WABC AM on the radio, which was broadcasting nonstop, commercial free about the black out, and we talked about experiences when we were little, and when my mom was in college. It was a family thing, and I had fun. My sister went all morbidy and was like "It makes you think how fragile our little society is, with out a one little thing, it all goes down." lol. Switching gears a little bit, Semjaza said on pg. 2,
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Was the September 11th descriptor at the beginning of the article really necessary? What the hell does that have to do with anything? Of course their first quote is based off that too. I feel like everything I read or hear about New York has to make reference to it. As if anyone left in this country doesn't know about it.
Bleh. You have no idea how horribly annoying that is. I love you dearly Semi, but hush up. In case some of you don't know, I live 40 min away from NYC, and that is WITH traffic. This is like the fact that it's a hella more frightening when you're in a fire, rather than when you see it on the news. You know? When you're like me, and you LIVE here, you've LIVED insanely close to where 9/11 has happened, it's a lot scarier. And really it does remind us like that. I mean, lower Manhattan is STILL trying to recover desparately, and the "unofficial" anthem of NYC is "God Bless America". I mean, I know the country knows what happened, but it's not the same when you're inside, or right near what happened. And almost everybody here knows someone who knows someone else who's family is the in-laws of somebody who was involved in it. The presence of 9/11 lingers like the smoke still there after the fire had been put out in the ruined twin towers. We all still remember. You can't go day without hearing a reference on the news. So yes, that was nessecary in the article, because seeing the evacuations, everyone on the Brooklyn bridge (and others) brought back the memories we're all trying to forget. I don't want to quote some of the longer posts, and besides I'm too lazy, but I appreciate the posts of:

BG on page 3
Ryan on page 2 And
GO YOU, IWAKURALAIN!

Part of what was originally posted by IwakuraLain Yes, i guess it is just a part of life but there is no need to decry or make such generalizations about the character of New Yorkers, Baron Samedi, and i'm assuming you dont live here. I know i'm probably overreacting and i know that i'll eventually feel really guilty about what i said because it isn't something I'd normally do or say but i cant help but feel a little offended.
I don't like generalizations of New Yorkers either, and I felt a bit offended as well, as I like to think of myself as close enough to be considered "New Yorky". GO YOU. I like what you had to say. (I heard about the street parties, too. I wish I could have been there!)
 4. No, not really, Shy. Don't post then. Silly. ^_~ (please notice that WINKING smiley face, shy)) But seriously, you have to understand, the last time this happened to NYC was in the 70's, and when that power went out, there was looting EVERYWHERE, when the Police went to warn everyone not to loot, after they left, people would go back in and steal whatever hadn't already been taken, there were more than 1700 false fire alarms, the fire department responded the over 100 real ones. This was the perfect reminder of how bad the financial situation was back then. Naturally, some expected the same to happen, and then the CIA and D.C. had to keep affirming that this wasn't another terror attack, because there were people hwo thought it was that, too. And truly, it's scary when you can't find out what's going on because, whoops, your TV's out. I was really scouring my house to see where any radios that worked on batteries were, so I could find out what was happening. Really, when one of the largest cities in the US, and a major city in the world goes down without power, that's big. Since most of us are Japan and Anime freaks, imagine if Tokyo went down without power. Yeah. It would be like that. Shy, you obviously haven't seen pictures of people standing, STANDING for milesbacked up from the Weehawken Ferry trying to get home in Jersey. It's insanely apparent you didn't see the PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC JAMS on the Brooklyn Bridge. And maybe for you it's not a big deal because you're used to the power going out once in a while. You're used to black and brown outs some times. But this hasn't happened to us in 30 years for goodness sakes, and this is the first time when I was alive. So it's really big for us.
 5. Okay okay. This post is cpoied from the thread I made about this without seeing this one. So sorry if it sounds a bit wierd. O.o If some of you (especially in other countries), might be wondering why some of your American Otaku friends aren't on like they are every single night, it could be because of the power outage. Some details are sketchy, but it looks like lighting hit a power plant in Canada (NYC Mayor Bloomberg is saying Quebec, and most radio stations say Ottowa. We'll know by tomorrow.) and then they tried to handle it, and there's something about a plant going down on the U.S. side near Niagra, and since some power grids rely on eachother, a TON went down! They say that power went out as far down as Baltimore, as far north as going into Ontario and Ottowa Canada, east along the seaboard, and as west as Cleveland (sp?)[when I heard Ohio, ALL I could think was: NERDSEY. Am I nuts or what? O_o]. There was some radio report about a couple outages in Oklahoma. Can anyone verify this? Even my uncle Gary in Houston called us because he saw it one the news. There were pockets with power, some without, some with generators, some with their own power supply, sometimes just flickers, sometimes for hours. Bergen county in NJ (where I live) was out from 4:00 P.M. about, until 9:00 P.M. We were one of FIVE counties in NJ to get this. 1/4 of NJ gets this power outage, and IT'S US! Figures. NYC was out bad, and many were evacuating buildings and Manhattan in general, walking across bridges to get home, hitching rides with strangers, you should have SEEN the images I just saw on TV (my power is back now, duh. I wouldn't be on the net if it wasn't). The Weehawken ferry station was abouslutely FULL, the lines for it backing all the way into the city. Some said it reminded them a bit of 9/11, with everyone evactuating. This was a bad blackout, but not as horrible as it could have been. There wasn't too much fire, or looting like the last time in the 70's when it happened. And my mom can remember singing religious songs, and Kumbayah, at my age, in the 65 one. But speaking of 9/11, the CIA and Washington D.C. were calming eveyrone, telling them this was the result, like I said, of lighting, and NOT of terrorism or anything. Some power is back now in NYC, like 10% - 15% of it, and they hope to have it all up and running tomorrow. Truly, if you weren't there, or weren't out for a long period of time, you can't truly understand it. However, everyone who went through the black out, I would hope you would oblige to share your story with all of OtakuBoards in this thread. And by the way, I'm going to save each and every relevant post on this, for any one of you who care. ^_~
 6. Yes, thanks again, for the updated banner (NOT BANANA!!!). lol. Ish cool. To Shy, well, you'll have to talk to Syk3 about the banner issue, but you can buy their CD here in the US. I've found their CDs at the local Borders Books and Music store. I plan to buy the CD tomorrow at this huge mall near Boston (b/c I'm on vaca. there right now).
 7. I know this will get closed, but I wanted the ENTIRE Otakuboards community to know that it's Ken's (DeathKnight) birthday today! So Happy Happy HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEN! Everyone: *sings* Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Keeeen, happy birthday to you. Hip hip hooray! *hands Ken invisible presents that she'll give to him later. Yar. So someone will close this. Yeah. But Ken is cool. So I wanted him to have his own b-day thread. Happy birthday, brother. Love ya! *huggles*
 8. *grins* I like Syke and Mei, too. I'll be sure to show them this thread. Most of the members with "We're married" or whatever, in their sig, just do it for fun, like "internet wedding". Most of them aren't even of legal age. Some, like Tori and Piro do it to cement a friendship, and they have other bfs and gfs IRL. Others, like Mei and Syke, are a couple, dispite the distance. But They aren't actually married. ^^;; I hoped that helped. But everyone else will have to tell you the story of how they got married online.
 9. *patiently waits for a mod* Anyways, welcome to OtakuBoards, where most of us are really nice. Really. Make sure to read the rules, or, if you want the condensed version: use common sense here. Heh. I hope you have a good time here.
 10. I dunno about going back to school. I'm going to be a freshman, but I think it's cool. I get to freak out as many people as possible, annoy the H**L outta them, if I'm lucky enough, make some upperclassmen friends (psh, yeah right. But it's a cool dream). And you know, maybe I can find a boyfriend this year (my school is regional, so there's kids from two other towns, and mine, coming in. More kids). I sorta don't want to go, though, because I'm afraid the time will go by really quickly, and then I'll be going to college, and then only a little bit after that, I'll be on my own. And that's scary. >_< I love to go shopping for school clothes. It's SO much fun, and I get to pick out the trendy and cute stuff for school. And I get to spend money on it, and I dunno. I just think it's really cool. Yeah. :) EDIT: I forgot to mention, the other, BIGGER reason I don't want to go back to school is because there's a group of kids from my middles school comming with me to my high school who think they're better than everyone else, like some white supremesist (SP?!?) or whatever, but some of them are Hispanic, too! HA! That makes no sense to me. Anyways, these boys always made racial comments toward Asians in my middle school. Mean things. And for those of you who don't know, I'm half Asian, and I look it. Here's a plethora of examples of how nasty these kids are. One kid ADMITTED to taunting his Korean friend, Matt Cha. And this guy, Chris, says "Matt Cha doesn't care." Yes, but other people DO. And besides, how do you REALLY know Matt doesn't care? (He strikes me as the Macho type, who wouldn't say if it hurt him) And they made comments all year in eighth grade, about a geoemtric term, CPCTC, which stands for "Corresponding Part of Congrutent Triangles are Congruent", but of course, they turn it into "Chinese People Cut the Cats". And maybe you think it's funny, but it's not very when you're Chinese. Another kid, Jordan, made some comment about Asians to another Korean, Albert Pak, and it upset him, so he told our Principal. That comment was pretty severe, I take it, becuase Jordan got suspended for it. They also taunted Steven Lee, who's, not only Asian, but NEW to our school. These jerks made fun of Alexia Kwakowski, who's part Philipino, and she's adopted. They don't know that, but their comments hurt her all the same. My mom said she went to counseling because of it. That person was the same Chris in the Matt Cha case. And you know what? Only one teacher did something about it. My L.A. teacher lowered Chris' grade, put a note about his behavior on the the report card, and called in his parents. This summer, some vandals graffitied the bricks of the school with swastikas, a message like "the VP must die" or something, and then, my mom said, some [negative] Asian comments. They graffitied another time, and tried to break into the school. I bet you any money it was those kids. My mom talked about this to the Middle school Principal, and in the fall they'll be working towards tolerance, and telling the teachers how to deal with it. But that doesn't help me, because I'm going to the high school, which is run by a different bunch of people, because it's part of a regional HS system. I'm gonna have to go to school with them, and they're smart too, so they'll be in AP/Honors classes with me, so I don't know what to do about them. And that's one reason why I don't want to go.
P.S.: When you have this going on in your mind, and when I've been talking about it with my mom a lot, like I did this summer, you start thinking everyone's like this. Or that someone, even a friend, might say something like this. Because maybe you know they like to joke around. They could make a JOKE about it, and not know it hurts you. So then I could pounce on anyone who may think of making such a comment. Even though I should know them well.

 11. I do think everyone, even a specific gender, can have GENERAL faults to them (or blessings, if you want to put it). And before I begin to elborate on this topic, I'd like to point out, if you find the below a fault in the GENERAL female population (that means there ARE exceptions), don't think you're better (especially if you're a guy), because you're the reason we remember these things. Besides, you make mistakes, too. ;) So anyways, my point is, that yes, lots of women tend to remember the faulty or mean things you have ever done. And some of us, too, can hold grudges against some people (whether it be of the same or opposite gender), but it depends on the person and the situation. Did that help you? No? Sorry.
 12. Thank you for your positive comments on my image editing. ^^;; You're all too kind, really. I was planning on making the "Happiness" a series of weird images like this, once every month, so check for me in this topic again, in a couple weeks or so. (er.. maybe a couple days). :)
 13. Been wanting to reply to this, but I didn't. Because I'm essentially weird. The point is that it's really awesome, and the fact that it's bishonen makes it all the better. *grins* I like the second one from the left, the one that you do, but also the one Ginny likes, and the blue one in between the one that I like and she likes. The end ones are good, but I just don't like them for some reason. O_o Then again, I'm a lunatic, soo, yah. The last one, the neck looks a little too long, I think, but it's still good. A heck of a lot better than anything I could draw. That's for sure. So, really good job. ^_^ Keep drawing ('specially drawing Bishis!) P.S.: Who's the Bishi?
 14. Absolutely fabulous, Ginny! I say, you'll have no trouble getting into Elfwood at all. Don't they make you take a rules test, too, or something? (but you'll do fine on those, too) The last one took me a while to distinguish between the mother and the head of the child, but I can tell it's the evil scanner. ¬_¬ Were you watching Digimon in when you drew the very first pic (from your first post)? The bracelet on its leg looks an awful lot like Parrotmon's arm band, and Gatomon's tail ring. ^_~ (Not that that's bad, it's really cool. Just wondering...)
 15. DOMO ARIGATO GOSAIMASU! ^_^ You are THE master at banners, man! Geeze, I'm surprised no one could tell the banner was for me. I mean, really. It's been in my sig since this topic was firt put up yesterday. lol. Anyways, it's entirely my fault about the back and white. I asked for him to use this certain image of the CD cover, which was in black and white. So everything else had to be that way. Greg is SO awesome!!! For any of you who have no idea who the he-eeack, yeah, that's it, heck I mean heck, the people on the banner are, they're Ami and Yumi, from the duo, Puffy. Or in the US, Puffy AmiYumi, since when they got here, P. Diddy held that title. And he changed his name anyway. Stupid artist made them chagne their name, and he THEN changes him own. Baka! -.- As Michael Hill said, "Go figure." So anyways, I picked up their CD in NYC, with the help of a really nice friend. ^_^ They have a new CD, Nice. coming out August 12th, so I asked Syk if he could make me this banner, as I wait for the CD release. How I'm going to find it beats me, but that's cool. He obliged to do this, and this is the totally awesome result of the phenomenon(s) called Syk (and Puffy, too). Puffy AmiYumi is a really great team, but you have to be willing to put up with Japanese lyrics being sung, and you have to sort of like oldies, and odd stuff. I mean, they've got Beatles type rock on here, Brasilian samba, Go-Gos like pop-punk, and some disco stuff in here too. So if you're opened minded about that, adn the language, you'll like the CD. It's really cool. Anyways, back to the banner, there isn't anything better that I could ask for, since I actually did ask syk to change it once before, and he was SO nice about it. ^__^ As for the little bubble in the corner, that's what I asked for. I was so cruel to syk (who ACTUALLY put up with me. o_O WOW.), but he black and whited the picture, shrunk it, and put it in the corner over there. The original image is at http://www.sonymusic.co.jp/MoreInfo/Chekila/Rodney/t_bunny/img/main_p.gif. Thunder Bunny is for Ami and Wonder Mew is for Yumi. They're SO cute. So I had to put them in. Thankies for putting up with that, Syk. You're SO patient. ^^ So anyways, yeah. The banner is totally awesome, as it's already in my siggy. You are THE best, syk! *huggles him but lets go rather quickly before Mei whacks her with a large object* It was a friendly huggle, I swear! But thank you SO SO SO SO SO much, Greg. ^___________^
 16. The awesomeness. But it's not like I expected anything less from the great and graphic artly tallented Greg! You are truly an amazing-azing-azing artisto when it comes to computer graphics. You did more than a "rather good job" here. Like I said, absolutely fabulous. And I admire how much time you put into this. Like they say, "What you put in is what you get out." So keep up the excellent artwork, and thank you (AGAIN) in advance. ^_^ [yes, I'm crazy]
 17. I was on the road the other day, going to a museum. And my mom and I were on the highway. So I see one of those green highways signs [I dunno what colour they are in other countries, but in America: they're green. ;)], and it says such and such a place, 1 mile. so I get this great idea. The picture was originally different, and I tooled around with it. I DIDN'T make the image. lol. In all irony, this was taken on a stormy day in S.C. during Hurricane Floyd a couple years ago. Tell me what you think of it, and how I can improve it, because it's pretty crappy, I think. Oh, and BTW, I did this only in MS paint. Gosh, how I hate this. Second thread of the same thing, because the first attachment thing wasn't working properly. -.-
 18. Sometimes I think it would be fun to be a newbie. Just to have my title say so. And other times, I cringe at the newbie title. The reason is, because while the people who are obviously NOT new people understand that the term "newbie" is only a state of being, and NOT a title, members who are newbies (despite their title), are the ones who don't understand that. So that's why most of the time I don't like the title. (that's why I asked that it be removed, if you get bored enough to pay any attention to what I say in the Suggestions Forum. *pauses* Or if you're cursed *coughMODcough* and you are forced to view what I write) This goes along with what Spikey said. In any event, if your title says newbie, and you know you're not (the whole newbie -> state of mind thing), then take pride in the title, I say. Because without newbies coming in all the time, the board would have no growth. Because of that, when I was a newbie, after a while, I became proud of my title. I even made a banner request (for the first AND LAST time). Final_Flash (I have no idea where he is today, and I think he changed his user name along the lines?) made me a banner, with what I wanted it to say: Newbie and DARN proud of it. I would have put in the other word, but swearing isn't too nice. :D The whole premise of it was that, again, with out "newbies" there is no growth and development. Besides, every "oldie" was a "newbie" at one point, ne? P.S.: If you want to take a look at that banner, I've hosted it at http://members.aol.com/moonbeamxvi/images/darn_proud_newbie.gif
 19.
What I said earlier Who calls a vacation a holiday anyways...? And why is "bangs" suddenly "fringe"? Our hair isn't made from old cloths that are coming apart!! Don't forget your crazy Naughts and Crosses which is tic tac toe. ;) Ahem. Yeah.
Originally posted by James I've always thought that "bangs" has many more negative connotations than "fringe". Fringe is more descriptive, too. Bangs just sounds silly. :worried: :wigout: But, really, you should be alright with language stuff. Understanding different accents is more of a problem than actually working out what people are saying. And if you read Harry Potter, you're halfway to understanding English anyway. ~_^
I'm assuming you knew I was kidding(from the wink), and that you're kidding, too(for your wink). *laughs* ^_^ Because seriously? I don't have a problem with Brits. They're actually really cool, as I've attempted oh so many times to call Ger and AJ at 1-3 in the morning (their time). >_> And I've direct connected with them too. I think both of them actually laughed at the sound, when I said the word "mate" (Friend) in my Jersey accent. As I would laugh if them tried to say "Yo, wassup dawg?" in a rediculously Posh accent (which no one uses anyways). So it all works out. My point was, that even as I acknowledge the cultural differences, and overcome them as well, some things do sound strange as foreigners(sp?). Fringe, Naughts and Crosses, and Mates, not matter how many times I may hear them, will always sound a little off key to me, simply because I haven't been brought up with the words. And, vice versa. I'm sure the term "Tic tac toe" is not in the slightest appealing to anyone from England (I've had many a fun debate about it, too. *grins in a silly way*). And AJ just doesn't like the term bangs. That's the way it will be. I was not putting down the words that exclusively apply to British people. Rather, I was merely expressing, as I believe I have the right to do so, my shock at how strange they sound to an American like myself. This, I thought, was indicated by the wink, but I apologize for not making myself clear enough, as I tend to doubt the meaning of such smilies myself. In any event (and in summation of this rant to make clearer a post), I was also merely suggesting that some words(in the examples above), because of their non-use in the USA, may sound very foreign to Raiha, and that she might suggest bringing a dictionary with her, to broaden the field of communication between two cultures. (gawd that was long. *_*)
 20. My title needs to say "Mistress of Darkness". ^_~ Okay, okay, I'll pick a title that doesn't revolve around inside jokes. "Compassion" sounds like me.
 21. I haven't got a crush on anyone at all right now (okay besides the guys on my Bishi list. They don't count. The can't breathe... unfortunately. -__-). I did, however have a crush on [strike]two[/strike] three people in the past. Can't tell you who they were, though. Heh. Crushes majorly distort vision of another. You think they're absolutely great, and when they do something wrong, which, by the way, is human, it's an even bigger let down, since you've idolized them. Dangerous stuff. I've got a lot of respect for some people. Oh, and to certain members: Thanks for putting up with me. Gawd knows, you people hould get some medal of honor. You KNOW who you are. ^_~ Love, y'all.
 22. I didn't know how much thisthread had changed, or I would ahve said something sooner. I didn't post here before because, well, I barely know you. I still barely know you. However, I think it matters not, the extent of our aquaintance. I just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, and prayers for Christophe Jon Michael, too.
 23. Two and three years ago, my mom and I would go to the Pocanos a week or so before or after July 4th, because our friends own a house up there and they let us stay there. So anyways, there's about a billion roadside stands up there for fireworks, so I suppsoe they're legal in Pennsylvania. LOL. We bought lots of sparklers (you can't even use them in NJ, I don't think!) and these magenta like things called Morning Glories which were really pretty. They're a bigger version of sparklers, but they're cool. So, we usually light those in NJ, even though we're not supposed to. lol. It's not like anyone would know. (unless our elderly neighbor who has no life decides to spy on us.. ¬.¬)
 24. She is not. She knows perfectly of what she speaks, as do many. And I admire you for saying the things I was not willing to. For not turning your back on the issues I wished to. You are unbelieveably strong to address this, Luminaire Vague Entreri. And I do thank you. You know I do. Love ya. ~Rox
 25.
Originally posted by Majin Buu U just better not come near me then
I'd just like to point out that I think you are an extremely close minded person, uncapable of accepting the opinions on taste of others. Just because you don't like it (I doubt you've ever even tried it) doesn't mean others can't like it! Getting to the topic at hand, I heard an urban ledgend once, and it was about some man. Well, this murderer decided to murder this man. So he did, and he hid the body in the man's own car. Then, the car, no one knowing the contents with in, was brought to a car dealership to be sold. The manager's daughter was helping a customer decide which car to buy. And he says he wants her to see something in one ofthe cars. So, he goes to the car with the dead guy's body in it, and tells her to open the trunk. so she does, and she sees the dead body. It's the same as the man who she was assisting. Creepy, ne? Then again, urban legends are always creepy. lol.
