That's right ladies and gentlemen, the Otakuboards podcast is coming to you! Boo and I have been planning this for quite some time, and after working the kinks out with recording the podcast, the first episode is coming to you!

The show will be about roughly 30 minutes and we're hoping that it'll have enough content to keep you guys satisfied while still remaining on the short side. To keep things relevant with Otakuboards, Boo and I will be selecting a few topics we want to highlight from across the forums and hopefully generate some more discussion in the threads themselves (adding our own little flair, of course =] ).

I know what you're thinking. "Korey how can [i][b]I[/b][/i] get involved with the podcast?". Well, it's actually rather simple and encouraged! We'll be taking user submitted questions every week and answer them. Almost no question is too taboo (but try to keep it within site rules, we want to be a PG-13 podcast) and we will select only the best questions, so cook up some good ones for us! <img src='http://www.otakuboards.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Also, if you want to be a guest on the podcast in the future, you'll have to either PM Boo or myself and let us know. We require that you have Skype and we will try to make a time that works for everyone.

So yeah! The first EP should be out by next week. We're aiming for Sunday evening. I'll update the thread when the podcast is up.

Whee! Is it lame if I'm all excited myself? Also, if there's topics you really want to be on the podcast feel free to throw them in here or PM them to either of us. This includes you wanting us to plug your RP or whatever cool new topic you made up lately.

Also, I think it would be cool if tons of people would be like "Hey this is [...] and you're listening to the OtakuBoards Podcast!" "Meh, meh, meh, OtakuBoards Podcast!" "PIKA PIKA CHIBICHU!" Y'know. There's enough space to give plenty of people 10 seconds of audio fame.

In terms of suggestions for your next episode, here are a few (sorry, Boo):

[*]Korey's voice seemed a bit muffled compared to Boo. You're probably aware of this and there probably isn't much you can do, though. But I could definitely hear you both well enough.
[*]I really like the background music - nice touch. I would consider turning it down a tiny bit, relative to your voices (mostly due to that slightly muffled effect). I really like the way you used the music for intro/outro and Chibi's report.

You covered quite a few topics and kept a really good pace. Putting Chibi in the middle was a great move - it kept things varied and refreshing.

Because OB is slower these days, I know it must be hard to talk entirely about new OB topics, but I think you did a great job of balancing general chat with actual OB-related stuff. I like that you took a topic and turned it into a news piece/discussion.

So, yeah...I don't have much else to say really. All three of you did a briliant job and I really hope that you'll keep treating us to your podcasts in the future. I think you will soon be giving our other podcast celebrities a run for their money. [/font]

Boo is such a talented impressionist. His Des voice is funny, but I also enjoyed his brief AnimeArchAngel impression, haha. Excellent work.

An enjoyable first episode all around, particularly since Boo and Korey have solid chemistry right from the start. That's half the battle!

I think my little sis sounded adorable. she definitely got the radio personality timing though. it sounded perfectly rehearsed.

(p.s. Allamorph, your rants never truly end, it can only be transformed from one state to another.)

I wasn't saying it was bad. I liked her voice. And she sounds like someone who could have a good job as a radio dj...I think that is what they are called. >>;

And Boo's accent (as well as what he actually talks about) provides all-important comedy relief.

This is why I'm glad I am not doing the show. If Boo's accent provides comedy relief, mine would provide...I don't know what. Crocodile Hunter flashbacks or something.

Seriously Chibs, you sound so much like her. It's kinda scary, actually. [The Pokemon Center jingle before her segment was awesome, too. <3]
